hardtailstar Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Here is the proof..... One person on a crusade to educate us all.... I'm getting sick and tired of dinosaurs being forced on our children | Mumsnet Discussion
BKGarry Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Nothing about dinosaurs is suitable for children, from their total lack of family values through to their non-existence from any serious scientific point of view. I take it she never had the pleasure of watching this
hardtailstar Posted May 18, 2015 Author Posted May 18, 2015 I'm hoping this is a troll. 40 pages of it..... I take it she never had the pleasure of watching this Loved that show!
localzuk Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I'm hoping this is a troll. Its gotta be! No-one can be that strange!!

E_G_R2 Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 In my book, it's ok to teach dinosaurs in school, but it needs to be balanced with equal emphasis on other creatures. I would love my children to learn about unicorns, for example, or centaurs, or even sabre-toothed tigers, but, no, it's always the fecking dinosaurs. I know we live in a country that embraces dinosaurism and holds it close to our hearts, but if we don't open our hearts to other creatures, mythical or otherwise, then, frankly, our future looks bleak.
LeMarchand Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I'm hoping this is a troll. I think you'll find that, unlike dinosaurs, trolls actually exist.
36Degrees Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I'm the baby, gotta love me...
Gatt Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 No-one can be that strange!! It's MumsNet - I thought you had to be strange to be on Mumsnet?
Arreks Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Let's hope another comet arrives sooner rather than later.
LosOjos Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I take it she never had the pleasure of watching this I literally just came to post exactly that... https://youtu.be/ByP2pQSbSmE?t=9s 1

LiamH Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I think i just lost brain cells reading the OP's posts. Maybe that's their plan, barrage us with stupid till we go crazy enough to believe it.
6Foot2 Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 The thread title is correct: Dinosaurs [for the most part*] do not exist. Dinosaurs were in existence until around 65 million years ago. *Birds are accepted by many as the Dinosaurs' remaining lineage.
ICTDirect_Dave Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 hahah! This story has been cropping it's comedic head up for a while now I love the seriousness behind it all.
Mako Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 This person has obviously never seen the museum where they dig up our supply teachers from. I'd love some carbon dating on the old dears whom I have to show what a USB stick is.
Andrew_C Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 WTF? Do they really... Yes, I suppose the Americans would... Save me the last bullet would you?
LiamH Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Haha they made another account! I seriously need more faces and palms for this stuff.
sted Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 An appropriate image I think... its like the creationist "scientist" who debated with bill nye a while back he seemed to be saying basically if its never been DIRECTLY observed it dosent exist (now it was a while back and im paraphrasing a lot of content so this may not be his entire argument) but by that logic its hard to prove anything exists. How can i prove (to pick the persons above me )norphy exists and isnt something my own mind made up (or equally how can you prove im not something norphys mind made up)
Norphy Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 Ah, the old "brain in a bucket" theorem. I remember having that lecture in Upper School during a class assembly.
bladedanny Posted May 18, 2015 Posted May 18, 2015 I could have believed it up until this sentence. Recently my sister foolishly gave my two youngest some dinosaurs toys for Christmas. After telling her to get out of my house I burnt the dinosaurs. It has to be a troll, even the most die hard of anti-evolution/dinosaur people wouldn't react like this.
