Never done it myself but would assume you would need to get hold of a weather balloon and a gopro at the minimum. I would suggest attaching some form of GPS tracking device to the gopro too so you can retrieve it.

Checked everything I could think of. Next step is to raise a ticket yeah. The job title is School Administrator so that's not it plus if it was matching on that no one at all would be able to email her. Very confused by it.

I have a VERY odd issue. I am looking into an email issue for a member of staff at a school where I don't have access to the email tenancy. The member of staff is emailing another teacher at a different school where I do have access to the tenancy. From here on out I will refer to them as X and Y at school X and Y respectively: X emails Y from their email account and gets a bounceback message as follows: [TABLE=width: 548] [TR] [TD]A custom mail flow rule created by an admin at SchoolY.sch.uk has blocked your message. [/TD] [/TR] [TR] [TD]This User Does Not Have External E-Mail Access [/TD] [/TR] [/TABLE] Checking the tenancy at school Y shows that this mail flow rule only applies to pupils and prevents them from receiving external mail. This is done by matching the title of the user. If the user's title is "Pupil" then reply with the above custom message as below: Checking Y's account on the tenancy shows that they have the title "School Administrator" so the above rule should not be applied. I have checked all filtering options, all rules on Y's mailbox and I am still unable to work it out what is causing it. The other oddity is that anyone else at school X is able to email Y without issue. VERY confused by all of this and wondered if anyone had experienced anything similar

Which K95 is it? There is the Platinum edition and non platinum edition. The platinum edition has a single column of Macro Keys as opposed to the non platinum edition which has 3 columns. I have a refurb Corsair K95 RGB and I cannot fault it at all. When you say fully programmable do you want an extra set of keys you can assign macros to or are you talking about changing the RGB patterns? The K95 RGB (non platinum) features 18 G Keys to the left of the main keys which can have macros assigned to them and comes with 3 modes you can switch between, in essence giving you 54 programmable keys. If you can find a refurb model and the fact that it is refurb doesn't bother you I would say get one of these.

Following a number of issues at a particular site I have finally configured the 2 switches on site with their correct IP's and passwords I was looking into loopback detection and spanning tree but have NEVER configured either option as our previous method of imaging often caused the switches to incorrectly disable ports rendering the imaging session useless. This leads me to this morning. Both switches are D-Link DGS-1210-48, I have enabled Loopback Detection on both on all ports, is this enough to prevent accidental double uplinks from bringing down the network or do I need Spanning Tree too?

Tried that too, it just doesn't run for me at all I'll give it another bash when I'm back on site next week If all else fails I'll try the MSI option too. Stupid software

Has anyone had any luck at all getting this software to run from a network share? I have downloaded the "installer" (basically a self extracting archive) and unzipped it using 7zip This left me with 1 folder and a file: $PLUGINSDIR Uninstall Scratch Desktop.exe Inside the $PLUGINSDIR was a bunch of files: app-32.7z nsExec.dll nsis7z.dll nsProcess.dll SpiderBanner.dll StdUtils.dll System.dll WinShell.dll I extracted the app-32.7z archive and the application ran from inside that folder with no problems at all As soon as the folder was copied to the Application Server on site it refused to run. The accounts used have full access to the share and it still doesn't work. How else would you suggest I achieve this?. I can't go round each machine on site and install it (too many machines involved) unless someone knows how to install it via GP

Steam Cafe doesn't actually require you to have multiple accounts either: Since you will be running a Site License Server to share your pool of commercial licenses, you do not need a Steam account for each PC. Instead you will need one commercial Steam account that you will use to sign up for the program and then one account for each Site License Server you will be running (generally one per physical location). We will require businesses to create a new Steam account specifically for commercial use. You will not be able to use your personal Steam account for these activities. Sounds like it could be a good thing

How would that help? The idea was to lock down Steam so it can't be logged out of. The connection isn't the issue One solution would be to install steam and install the games then block any steam related urls

Quick Update We have changed our idea slightly as some of the schools already use the AD Description field for identifying locations of equipment. We also want to be able to export and filter key pieces of information. Our new plan is to modify the local computer description and then split this description with the comma delimiter and write the individual values to the Extension Attributes for the machine. Our new script looks like this: The first part is done and works. Just to parse this information into the correct fields now.
