Hey All, Hope you are all well. I have a very odd problem, I know little about the way calendars are setup so bear with me on this please! I have a colleague who all of a sudden is seeing "Private Atonements" in her calendar. The calendar is one that the entire site has access too. The person who has added the appointment has not made it private, I can see the appointment on my calendar. I did a little research online and it was suggested to make the person seeing the private appointments an editor, which, using the older version of Outlook 365 I managed to do. However, to no avail. I am now stuck as to what I can do for her. Does anyone have any ideas about this please? Many thanks.

I noted that the stands were bigger and there were slightly less of them. Ai aside, I also noted a theme that seemed to be focused alot around SSO somewhat. Maybe that was just the vibe I noticed though. Was great to catchup with Rick too.

Hi All, I've been having a battle for some time with trying to remove calendar entries. Backstory:- I work over several schools and did have multiple email addresses and calendars, me thinking I would be clever thought it would be a good idea some time ago to add the schools main Google calendar to my outlook. - Having done this, my main outlook calendar has all the google entries in it. (As expected). However, I no longer need the Google calendar at all. I "think" i've managed to disconnect the Google calendar (not confirmed) BUT I cannot remove all of the entries out of my calendar. The new version of Outlook 365 seems not to allow removal en-mass of entries. Can someone please advise me on how to do this? I don't care if I loose everything and start that afresh. I'm going bonkers with this! Many thanks JT

So, an update The issue was on my work laptop, local profile nothing particularly different to that of a home laptop. That being said, my wife wanted to use her own PC and the same issue occurred. She then went to use her laptop and was ok. I then used her laptop only seconds after she did and office stopped. - I cannot seem to make it work. I ahve run the office installer / repairer and to no avail. I have even removed it and reinstalled it too.

Hey All, came in to work this morning and noticed that no Office 365 applications open. (Locally installed). I'm don't recall any uipdaes coming in I have:- 1) Run the offline and online repair tool -- No fix 2) Uninstalled & reinstalled office 365 -- No fix, I'm a bit stuck and don't fancy reloading the machine again. Anyone any ideas? OS is 11 BTw!

Possibly, but we can't even work out what this service is or where to locate it. We don't use an MDM, so that's out. The suddenness of it leads us to think this is something not related to the server in that way if that makes sense?

Hey All, So, we are with RM, we have 100Mbps leased line. At this school, mot mornings there is a real lack of speed. It looks intitally like a DNS issue but isn't. - Speaking with RM, they are saying that the bandwidth utilisation is 100%. They also say that the service utilising this bandwidth is "Google Update". The odd thing is that it happens early morning and settles at lunch time. - We cannot see anything on this network that even remotely looks like this anywhere on the network. Any advice would be brilliant, this school is really suffering! PS - We have just had all except the core switches changed from Cisco to Ubiquiti. Could be something or nothing.

Hey All, I know a reasonable amount of FreePBX and know very well what it is capable of. I've had limited use of it myself. - We are considering FreePBX as a locally hosted phone system platform. What I was hoping for help with please is a company that can help do the initial setup works, and have a small monthly SLA. At the moment, we are not really considering any other platform. So IF you know of any companies that can oblige, I'd love to hear from you.!

I have an update - Thanks to Chris, It seems to have been as simple as a firmware update. I thought they were up to date but clearly not. - Staff are reporting no issues at the moment. Thank you for everyone who contributed.

I've emailed Proactive AV whom installed them (BenQ RE6503 ) asking how to get this issue resolved. It would seem that the copyright message is there regardless of when the screen is paused.

Hi All, We've had a few 65" BenQ interactive screens put in school and they are great. However, I cannot seem to get past a small yet significant issue. The staff try to pause/freeze the screens using the blue button and there is an error or more a message that says:- "The currently playing content involves copyright protection, and the ZoomIn cannot be taken normally" Preventing them from being paused. The "content" being played is usually a powerpoint that a teacher has made. So not really copyright. can anyone shed any light on this or tell me what we are doing wrong? Many thanks John

Hi All, So, we have a print server to which we have several network printers attached. We have one particular printer that has completed an update. Our teachers logon to their laptops which are attached to the domain. When the client logs on the printers are mapped. If a driver on the server is updated, the client asks for an administrator to enter their credentials. Here is where I have an issue. One of the printers has done an update and the clients are asking for the creds. When we enter the creds the updated drivers seem to install but fail. IE the clients keep asking to update the driver. My question is How can I roll back the driver on the printserver to bring the clients and server back inline driver wise? Many thanks John

Hi All, We are a trust of schools, we have one overarching trust based domain with Google and want to be able to move another schools domain which has its own domains already in Google. That school also has a 2nd domain within that almost like a sub-domain and we are looking to move all in to one domain. The reason for this is to be able to achieve SSO on chromebooks. The devices are managed by the main trust domain and the clients log on from the other domain. The applications we use are generally supported by wonde and we want to utilise the sso and other features. We have two other schools already part of the domain BUT these were added before we started and don't know much about how this works. Better still, knowing who can do it? - So, decided here would be a good start. Many thanks John

Sadly all settings looked correct for all domains and OU's I forgot to mention. The devices are enrolled on one domain and the users are on another. The devices are on the trust domain with an OU for each school then one school has their own domain users logging on to the Chromebooks., This is a different domain to the trust one. AND - I never set this up so finding the setting is hard work as it could be the users OU on one domain or the Devices OU on the other domain

Do they leave them open? --> Yes Do the Chormebooks sign the users out --> Yes Is the same thing happening on all Chromebooks, everytime? --> Yes Reboot after uptime limit Action on lid close Scheduled reboot Thank you, i'll look now for these settings.
