Hello, I need to purchase a mobile interactive whiteboard that will be shared among three classrooms. I am looking for something with a mounted projector. I'm looking at something in the 47" range (I'm American, so please excuse my use of inches) but I'm willing to go larger. I've investigated the Eno One Mobile so far. Does anyone have experience with this, or any other mobile interactive whiteboards? I could really use some advise on this one. Thank you!

we have several Interactive Whiteboards brought from a company called Interactive Education, I believe that the boards are a Numonics board (might be Genieware not 100% sure). The pens from Interactive Education have been steadily raising, does anyone know another supplier of these pens?

While I can create an Easiteach animation, when I save it, the animated object is saved in its final position. For example, if I animate a plane flying from the left to the right of the screen, the page is saved with the plane on the right hand side. When I reopen the file, the plane is still in this position on the r-h-s. However, I want to open this file with the plane on the left hand side, ready to fly. Any assistance will be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi All, We've had a few 65" BenQ interactive screens put in school and they are great. However, I cannot seem to get past a small yet significant issue. The staff try to pause/freeze the screens using the blue button and there is an error or more a message that says:- "The currently playing content involves copyright protection, and the ZoomIn cannot be taken normally" Preventing them from being paused. The "content" being played is usually a powerpoint that a teacher has made. So not really copyright. can anyone shed any light on this or tell me what we are doing wrong? Many thanks John

Hi Everyone, Its nearly Friday! We are after some interactive whiteboard pens for the whiteboards we have on-site. We have Hitachi Cambridge (All different version numbers) I have found that sourcing pens for this board has become pretty difficult as Hitachi have discontinued the pen. The pen was a very light shade of grey with blue buttons, quite big in size. We have Smart Boards in our primary school, so don't have this issue there We managed to get some rechargeable pens working with them, which work pretty well, but its the cost that's the problem. For a pack of two with the charger it costs around £150! And as you know what teachers are like, once they are lost, well they are truly lost. Any advice would be great! Thanks in advance Tom Caroline Chisholm School

Hi everyone We've recently had installed a large number of interactive whiteboards for our science department. Trouble is, the connectors (e.g. VGA, audio and USB) are in a block on the wall just under or next to each whiteboard, and the teachers want their laptops at a desk or demonstration station which is not close to these points. Long cables are out of the question because of health and safety (they'd have to go across the floors etc) and also because of aesthetics (this is a new building). I'm therefore thinking either of connecting the equipment via CAT5 (there are a myriad of CAT5 points in each lab) using something like this which costs US$83 plus import/shipping from China, but I must admit to being a little skeptical about it. Can VGA, audio and USB all run through the same CAT5 cable without any problems?! Alternatively, I've thought of going wireless using this which provides a WAP, wireless audio and VGA all in one device, but leaves me with the USB connection for the interactive whiteboard still to work out. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated! Whatever we do, it has to be simple - teachers don't have the time to fiddle around with a number of connectors (and if we had multiple CAT5 extenders I can see it being confusing as to which one connects what!) - and reliable. As wireless network coverage is not currently 100% in the building, I'm thinking about trialling the second solution outlined above along with a CAT5 USB extension. However, this means that the teachers would always have to go to the same location for the USB connection, which sort of defeats the point of being wireless, I guess!! Does anyone have any experience with wireless USB (which I've seen sporadic reference to on the web)? Thanks! Stephen

All, You may be aware that Lynx 8 Whiteboard used to have really useful handwriting and maths pen features. Teachers found these useful when using CleverTouch interactive whiteboards in the classroom. Lynx have now removed this functionality and it is only available in a paid for subscription model - Lynx Pro version. I have just about calmed down from raging. Rather than pay for the Lynx Pro version, this may be the perfect burning platform to help persuade teachers to move to using Microsoft OneNote instead. If anyone has any thoughts on this and other options for handwriting pens using CleverTouch Interactive screens in the classroom, please let me know.

Hi all, does anyone know how (dis)activate the power consumption mode on the Clevertouch Sahara model? It's not clear how to do so in the manual. Thank you

If you ever have the need to contact Promethean Technical Support, you may need to provide the serial number of the product you are enquiring about. The serial numbers are located: ActivBoard – either on the pen holder (V1 ActivBoards), On the side of the electronics box on the back of the board (Early V2 ActivBoards), On a small plastic tag behind the bottom left hand corner of the board (Later V2 ActivBoards) or on the left hand side of the board (V3 ActivBoards). ActivPen – There is no serial number on your ActivPen – however, support may ask you for the serial number of your board that the pen was provided with. ActivWand - There are no serial numbers on these devices, therefore you would need to provide the sales order number of the order that the kit was purchased on. ActivExpression Handset – There are no serial numbers on these devices, therefore you would need to provide the sales order number of the order that the kit was purchased on. ActiVote Handset - There are no serial numbers on these devices, therefore you would need to provide the sales order number of the order that the kit was purchased on. ActivSlate – The serial number for your ActivSlate is located on the back of the slate in the top left hand corner ActiView – Serial Number is located on the bottom of the base ActivPanel – Serial Number located on the product information sticker on the back of the ActivPanel
