I suppose that if I was being finicky I could say that I do only believe in dinosaurs - I have seen no definitive evidence that they exist

 

But... the millions of fossils? the preserved tracks? its okay to say you haven't witnessed it first hand but that is surely from lack of trying? i found a fossilized Ammonoidea shell as a child (and not part of some pre-arranged trip!) that is sat on a shelf at my parents house.

 

If we are talking absolute truths then they don't exist, its impossible to prove anything to an absolute degree so we do have a certain amount of guesswork in anything, even our own existence.

 

Science adjusts its views based on whats observed.

Faith is the denial of observation so that belief can be preserved.
