Have you considering going to any other local schools that use the systems? Perhaps getting some of the keys users to visit schools and look at the systems in use? Data managers, exams officers, office managers etc. What ever you choose, the majority of people will complain, no one likes change [emoji23]

Amazes me more how often people complain about Sims, then complain about changing too one if the competitors that fix alot of the issues they complain about [emoji23]

Recently purchased the Asus zen WiFi AC mesh, pretty happy with it, can't fault it so far. Definately cheaper alternatives out there but depends what the person is after.

Order alot from eBay, would definately have to dispose of some of our devices a lot earlier if we weren't allowed to.

Love this guy, think of all Google and amazon speakers like dre beats, if you have never used anything other than cheap speakers or headphones you will think they are great, if you have ever had even half decent speakers you will think they are terrible for sound quality.

Hi all, Our English department is currently looking to be able to annotate what is on screen whilst recording it at the same time. Preferably something that works with Windows tablets, however like most schools we have tons of equipment that was purchased without us knowing (ipads, android tablets, etc). They don't mind purchasing new devices if needed, it is preferably a cheap as possible option as it is mainly just for the remainder of covid and remote learning. I would usually just research this myself, was hoping people had an option they was already using as we are snowed under like most people at the moment. Thanks in advance.

Annoying, may have to try and lead the powers that be down the path to remove the G drive and hope that staff can cope with such a drastic change.

Sorry my target is to make it so they can access their My Drive through Drive File Steam, but can only access Team Drives (shared drives), by going via the web browser.

Morning all, We have been using Google Drive for a while now, unfortunately to make the transition easier, we installed Drive File Stream for all staff. Now they are all completely reliant on the G drive being there so they can save via the file explorer / office. I want to turn off the team drives being visible from the G drive, basically so they are forced to use docs, sheets and slides to collaborate on documents (you know, as it was intended). I know that at one point you could only see Team Drives within the G drive if you was a content manager, however that isn't really what I want. If not, do many of you use Drive File Stream or just turn it off? Thanks in advance.

I happened to stumbled a cross this setting yesterday while looking at Google admin, thought it was weird that it was set to that as default.

I know not what you asked but can you run a hdmi cable behind the coving or skirting at all? Never tested the hdmi over wireless personally but I also prefer cabled.

Yeah I had to do the same, if it isn't in the addons tab, do as tbfabove has stated (wasted a enough time before I found the fix myself).

I know Server 2019 is not currently supported by Capita until Spring 2020, however is any one running Sims on Server 2019 already? If so have you had any issues? It is our last major server migration before January and I want to standardize on 2019 (and I will be honest I don't want to set it up on 2016 only to move it again in March when Spring release drops). I have seen people have had issues with SQL Server 2017 / 19 and it looks as though they will only support SQL 2016 R2 for the significant future so was going to stick with that. Our current server only has Sims, FMS and Solus 3.12.41 (plus couple of groupcall products).

Has anyone had these issues with other versions of windows 10? Have tried deploying v1809 and get the same issue, only once the group policies apply though.

Having the same issues here, no AppLocker enabled.don't know how I didn't see this thread whilst looking for a solution previously.
