One of our librarians has reported she can no longer access the Manage Library area in reading cloud. I've logged in with our IT Admin account and I'm getting the same issue. Is anyone else getting this issue. I'm wondering if it's a reading cloud issue or if another librarian somewhere has changed some permissions so we've lost access.

Sorted it. It was because I only copied the new exe file over when I updated to the new version and didn't copy the other folders. At least I know now to copy everything over when updating!

Trying to export an examwritepad file to word using the built in export to word function but getting this error: Currently using the latest version of ExamWritePad. Does office need to be installed on the machine to export it? Currently have Office LTSC Profession Plus 2021 installed.

Sorry to go off topic but is Intune included in A1? I see mixed answers when searching online. We're mainly google based but might look into going to intune for our windows devices.

This. You should start using GAM or GAM-Advanced 3 just to get familiar with it. The google admin console lacks a lot of stuff that the API can help with. Especially Google Classroom.

We currently use open apply admissions but will soon be moving over to operoo. Main reason for moving is operoo is cheaper and does quite a few others things so we can consolidate some of our systems into one.

We have salamander create accounts for our applicants. It's a separate job we run. The only downside to this job is it creates accounts for all applicants, even if they've not confirmed they're joining.

Brimstone is correct. Books need to be deployed to an Apple ID as publishers didn't like the idea of re-assigning book licenses. They want one license per user so you have to assign a book license to an Apple ID (managed or personal). To do this, you need to invite the users to VPP which they accept and sign up to VPP using an apple ID. You can then assign VPP content to the user but the user must use the apple ID they signed up with to VPP. If they switch apple ID, they will have to be re-invited and get a new license assigned to them. Edlink might not be able to do this.

We get similar issues but not enough to change SSID name. Every now and then a user will change their password and update their main device and forget about any old devices they connected like a phone or kindle. This means their device constantly tries to connect to wifi with the wrong credentials and ends up locking their account for 10 minutes. We sometimes have to track down the devices mac address which leads to a hint on which device it might be.

We do this using an explicit proxy (fortigate) and a pac file pushed out via our MDM. There's a lot more to our setup such as a PHP server and dns routing but I wasn't the one to set it up so don't know the details of it.

We used https://schoolwatch.co.uk/ but all they did was contract it out to a CCTV installer. They installed HikVision controllers for us. I don't know how granular it can go but sounds like Inventry might be the system you're looking for. They have an app that you can use for the fire register also.
