  1. Might be worth setting them up as normal iPads and not shared iPads. The only issue with this is lots of students using them might mean they leave themselves logged into other services/apps. This is how we currently setup our nursery iPads but we only allow apps that don't require logins (so we don't push out google apps in case staff leave themselves logged in).
  2. That might be difficult with those numbers. You might have to come up with a system to book iPads out and make sure students try use the same iPad each time so that they don't sign into every iPad. This will depend on the size of your iPads storage. There is more information here that shows how an iPad is setup when using shared mode: https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/deployment-education/iora714f0cdx/web
  3. This says you can but I've not tested it: https://support.airserver.com/support/solutions/articles/43000512437-how-can-i-show-multiple-devices-in-airserver-
  4. If you're using Shared iPads then you're best off setting up classes and assigning those classes to the iPads. This will allow the students of those classes to sign into the iPad using their Apple ID as long as it's all been setup on the Apple School Manager side.
  5. Probably worth noting that usually with each new IOS big update, you need to update Air Server on the machines.
  6. There are several resellers for Jamf. There are two main versions: Jamf Pro and Jamf School. I believe Jamf School use to be Zuludesk and Jamf purchased them. Resellers you can go to for quotes I know of: Jigsaw24 and Academia.
  7. We moved from Reflector to Airserver a few years ago.
  8. Do you mean Google Chrome startup pages?
  9. Are they all Dells? You can try installing Dell | Command Update and run that from command line to look for new drivers and install them. I believe HP have something similar: HP Image Assist.
  10. I think this will be useful. I'll get back to you when I've spoken to a couple of others and organise a call.
  11. Looking into this at the moment. Any information would be great or if anyone knows of any other threads.
  12. I believe it was credit for other purchases but not sure as it was done by the IT Director here.
  13. We recently sold ours back to Academia in return for credit. Surprisingly worth a bit still.
  14. Do you have PDQ deploy or something similar install software/updates automatically? It might be forcing certain apps to close to try and update.
  15. What does it mean when it says enter code? Think I've figured it out. Seems to want serial number.
  16. We use e4education but I wasn't really involved in the setup and creation of the website. Was mainly dealt with by our marketing department. If you want to take a look around our website: www.stephenperse.com I remember they did provide initial website designs which we were able to review and provide feedback on before it went live.
  17. Ours are all running without admin rights.
  18. Ours have started fine this morning. One student with extra time but the confirmation screen didn't show she had extra time. Worried the test will end at normal time.
  19. My Dashboard is working today but seems a bit slow. Just about to get students to enter keycode. Fingers crossed!
  20. Our school has become an apple regional teaching centre. You can view and sign up to events here: https://www.stephenperse.com/cambridgecityrtc Some events are internal only but most are available externally.
  21. Cambridge Assessment has released a form to fill in for any issues candidates have faced for special considerations: https://cambridgeenglish.formstack.com/forms/november_session_cb_issues?utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=Nov_21
  22. This is what I did and we where able to complete our tests today as normal. My only issue was the invigilation screen was not loading so wasn't able to pause tests if it was needed.
  23. We need this working tomorrow as we have a student that is allowed to leave the room so will need their test pausing by the invigilator. Our 5 students have just finished and their exams did get uploaded. 2 failed initially but a retry sorted it. Took a while!
  24. I asked their support the same question. This is the reply:
