I think ours are SAM4S and I did an in place upgrade from LTSC 2016 to LTSC 2019 without any problems.

We had this happen sometimes and some of the things we put in place were moved AD join to end of task sequence make sure to delete the AD object if reimaging added a 60 second pause into the task sequence as the first thing to run on first boot into Windows I think the main thing for us was moving the AD join to the end of the task sequence to stop the blank wizard.hta page appearing

I've been using Brsk (now YouFibre) for about 15 months now without any issues.

Allowing WhatsApp through smoothwall
bknaggs replied to mrstrong's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
I can't see any Smoothwall rules specifically allowing WhatsApp for staff. I do have a couple of outbound firewall rules allowing TCP 5222 and 5223 and UDP 3478 outbound from our BYOD VLAN. -
Allowing WhatsApp through smoothwall

WhatsApp works on our Staff BYOD. We don't inspect https there but I'll have a look and see if I've had to do anything out of the ordinary to allow it. -
My installs of LTSC 2024 say the same on that screen but in About Word it is listed correctly as LTSC 2024

Which application are they opening with?

We've got a similar problem with some (not all) of our Lenovo PCs since moving to Windows 11. Manual lock or forced lock after 5 minutes of inactivity and the screen goes blank after a minutes and doesn't always come back. We haven't been informed when it's happened to try wake on lan but it appears it should work. Our classroom PCs aren't set to lock so it doesn't appear to be connected to a touch screen/projector.

You don't need a Capita tool. Download the ISO from Microsoft and you'll be able to do an in place update for the SQL 2016 instance.

Are the devices managed in an MDM? If it's managed and was assigned to the MDM using Automatic Device Enrolment you should be able to bypass the activation lock.

This page - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/client-management/manage-notepad?tabs=gpo - suggests the GPO settings are machine wide for all users so maybe try installing the ADMX templates and configuring them.

Sorry. I can't see any record of the model number of the screens.
-
They look the same as what we had. I'll have a look on Monday and see if we've still got the model number recorded anywhere or have any remotes still.
-
We had some old ones that sound a bit like that. Can you post a picture and I'll see if they match what we had. If they are what I think they are there is a freeze function on the remote.
