Can you get an adjustable TV stand, set it as low as possible and cut of the un-needed length? Or one of those desk mounted monitor arms on a small trolley?

If you needed to put a windows key in to make MTD SCCM work then you could use GVLK keys and replace them with your OEM ones post imaging.

Licencing shouldn't be a problem. Only licences I needed were a server licence (for the server running MDT) and a windows MAK licence for the computers. (unless you use KMS)

I can't remember the exam, but a few years back (not long after we started using EWP) we were asked about this as one of the exam questions was "design a flyer" or something. No-one seemed overly bothered when we said no, and it's never come up again so I didn't think much about it.

Have you got any app-locker or SRP polices running?

We used our VPP account without any issues.

It's also probably worth converting your VPP and DEP accounts into an Apple School one. I've found the apple school interface much more intuitive and useful, and having both things in the same place helps. https://school.apple.com/

You should be able to go into the Settings>General>Device Management on each ipad and just delete the management profiles. (do this by tapping into the management profile and selecting Delete or Remove Management.)

Hi guys, Can anyone recommend a good (and inexpensive) graphics/expansion card. It has to be low profile (or have a low profile configuration) and have both HDMI and Displayport connectors. So is the problem that the sent emails don't appear the shared mailbox's sent items rather than them not being able to "send as"? If so, there's a setting for this. From the 365 admin console go to Groups > Shared Mailboxes and select the mailbox you want to edit. Under Sent items, go to edit and make sure "Copy items sent as this mailbox" is checked/ turned on. This will put sent items into the shared mailbox's "sent items" folder. hope this helps.

Isn't it a H&S issue, that while using "display equipment" users need to be able to customize their workstation to reduce stress/RSI type injuries and improve posture? I know it applies to staff who use computers, I don't know if it would apply to students as well, as they're only using them for one/two lessons at a time. If you can use regular student chairs, then I'd say go for it. But I'd check your H&S policies first.

Depending on how long you've had them (and if the company you got them from is still around #misco#) then you might be able to add old orders into DEP. We got 2-3 year old kit provisioned on DEP. Far as I'm aware, you don't need the intune app installed (but you'd need it for availible apps). While you can manage device without assigned users, we found that user affinity makes it far easier. If you don't want your user to sign in or the device moves between users then you can use an enrollment manager account. But if the devices are one-to-one or assigned to a specific user then using user affinity with the assigned users 365 accounts does seem to be the best way to go.

Depends on the product. If they're "smart" (as in the board knows you're holding a pen and what colour etc.) then we'd probably replace like for like (but it's coming out of their budget, not ours). If it's just a dumb stylus then they'll get something from our bag of old Smartboard pens. Failing that, any old stylus will do the job. According to their site, Genee use IR basted touch (like most large screen panels), so you could use pretty much anything as long as it's not going to damage the screen, I've used pencil rubbers and the blunt end of a marker pen on our Smart E70 screens. Maybe make your own with old dry erase pens and some felt or similar (not scratchy) material. And if they keep going missing then the teacher has fingers, right?

We moved from (Free) Meraki to Intune a while back. It's a slightly different way of thinking about things, but once you understand how it works, it's not too bad. And most of the pages have links to documentation guides. First, you'll need to set up VPP and your apple push certificates, which should be similar to Meraki. Then set up configurator enrollment (ultimately this should work in a similar way to Meraki) https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/intune/apple-configurator-enroll-ios#create-an-apple-configurator-profile-for-devices We always use user based enrollment with an enrollment manager account for shared devices https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/intune/device-enrollment-manager-enroll Apps and device configuration polices are pretty self explanatory. We've got it all based on user groups. Required apps will automatically install, and available can be pulled down from the intune app. You'll need to make sure the users have intune licences assigned.

If I recall correctly you get to the ini by right clicking on the deployment share (in the MTDT workbench) and going to properties. It should be on first tab.

MDT should have GUI interface for setting up Office installs (at least it did the last time I used it). Most of the other applications on your list should have msi installers availible, in which case the install command is: msiexec.exe /i "installer.msi" /qn where "installer.msi" is the name your msi.

As far as I remember you can only have one loop-back policy applying at once. Might be worth checking to see if you have any others running higher up. The other thing that might work, is to have the policies applied to the users and use WMI filtering to make them only run on certain machines.
