Someone asked a question about that same error on Veeam forums, but with B&R, not Veeam Free. That was before Update 2 came out to add support for ESX 6. Have you checked if your Veeam is upgraded to whatever latest update is for Free?

Had a similar error with trying to upgrade to 3.9 - it refused to believe that 3.something was on for it to upgrade from. In the end I think i installed solus 3.9 manually on the server, overwriting what was there, then carried on. Petrr

You look to have three microphones (2 handheld and one beltpack) from three different brands, and two receivers from yet another different brand (something Chinese?). The DAB microphone has its frequency range printed on it which is blurred, but based on the age of it, it should either be somewhere around 175 (VHF) or 864 (UHF). (It's not new enough for the recent license changes which could put it in the 500 or 600's.) The blurred writing appears to begin with an 8 rather than a 1, which suggests it is UHF. Each channel on the screwdriver will relate to a different frequency around those areas. The receivers and other mics will also be VHF or UHF but we can't tell from looking at them You need to find if there's a common frequency between whatever the channels on the microphones are, and the channels on the receivers - which involves setting channel 1 on the receiver, then trying each channel sequentially on the microphone, then repeating channel 2, 3, 4.... on the receiver until you find a match. But even if you do, some manufacturers include technology to detect if it's their device or someone else's, so still might not work even if you hit the right frequencies. Peter

We had this in our new hall a couple of years ago. You have I think three options: 1) If the amp has two or more inputs, wire a 3.5mm input for the laptop into the amp - possibly via a DI box to bring it up to mic level - or buy a different amp with more inputs, and do the same. Optionally get a volume control something like BT936 - B-TECH - LOUDSPEAKER VOLUME CONTROL - IN-WALL | CPC UK between the two. [ETA: This is probably a bad example of a model as it's designed for speaker level, but there must be line-level ones somewhere] 2) (Expensive option) Buy a DSP (https://www.futureelectronics.com/en/Microprocessors/digital-signal-processors.aspx) - route the main mixer through one input, and the laptop through a second. This is what we did, but we've 8 inputs and 8 outputs going through it from the get-go, not retro-fitted. 3) Buy a small mixer and put it where nobody can get at it, with the original mixer going through one (pair of) channel(s) and the laptop (possibly with volume control as above) going through another input(s). I have regular Logmein on servers and my PC, configured in its preferences to use the 801 proxy port ( ie unfiltered) cos I struggled. This was before we bought Layer7 though. I've not done anything with UNblocking via Layer 7; we just use it for blocking VPNs.

Don't tell me this - just ordered 26 Konica's with Papercut MF! :-(

Layer 7 is under Networking > Outgoing > Ports. In each policy there, there's a new link at the top called 'Blocked Services' which has categories such as VPN/Tunnelling. If you check the Licenses page, it's called Deep Packet Inspection.

Interesting... We tried Radius but turned it off cos it didn't work with our setup. However we do use other mechanisms which might possibly have same effect - I'll have a think.

Is that right? My quote from one of their main resellers is just one license for the software? (I've already got Sharp embedded license from them, but that's not Papercut-specific)
