Hello. One of my schools would like me to move all users’ data including shares online to Microsoft 365. What would be the best way to do this? The school already has a Microsoft tenant which they use for online teaching, Teams mainly. I’m really not an expert on this. Would all the shares like staff share be moved to Share Point or One Drive? Many thanks in advance!

Hello everyone. I'm trying to use Microsoft Power apps on a Surface with Microsoft 10 pro installed and fully updated. Once I logged into any Microsoft account (tried 2 different one) it come up with the following message. see attached image. I have installed Microsoft Edge WebView 2 Run time various times but still no luck. I tried the same thing on a pc and got the same results. Any help would be much appreciated!

Hello. I have been having issues adding shared printers to computers in our school. We have a Win server 2012 r2 and windows 10 pro machines. I get Error 740 which so far I managed to get by with using cmd in elevated prompt then using this command (rundll32 printui.dll,PrintUIEntry /il)then add the printer via browsing to the server. The strange thing is that we have 3 identical photocopiers in the school and I just cannot add one of them and of course that is what the user need the most. Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you

Thanks for this. Luckily we found out that the server had a pro service package so first Dell tried to fix it remotely which did not work so they came and replaced the whole motherboard and the IDRAC.

Thanks. I have just realised what I have done! It is a brand new install so I joined all the computers to the server but did not pull them into any OU. The added the policy to the default policy but I think you have to put the computers into an OU to get any policies. Hence it did not apply the policy! At least that is what I think. Will check on Monday when I'm back there. Thank you.

Hello. I'm having problems with the password complexity gpo on a Windows server 2019 Standard. Even though I disabled it it still won't let me create a simple 5 character password. Please see attached pic for the setting that is applied on the dc. At the local pc I can't change the password. I get Unable to update the password. The value provided for the new password does not meet the length , complexity, or history requirements of the domain.

Hello. I have a Dell Poweredge T430 server on Windows Server 2019 Standard that is stuck on Configuring Memory during bootup. I have attempted to installed a newer version of bios from 2.9.1 to 2.13.00 Once I installed the update I had to reboot the server. From then on I have been stuck on this issue. These are the things that I have tried so far Moving the NVRAM jumper 3-5 to 1-3, restarted the server, after 5 minutes powered it down and put the jumper back to its original position. I have also try to boot the server with just one memory module. I reseated the modules in a different slot. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks

Thanks for your reply. I will give it try next week when I'm in that school again. Unfortunately we don't have a mac so I think we can't use apple configurator. We did try the wipe command from the meraki MDM but nothing happened. I can't remember exactly now but when I opened the Meraki app on the shared ipad it reported some connection issues. Will try again next week. -

Just to add that we don't necessary need the iPads to be in Shared iPad mode. We just want to control them centrally and lock down some features like passcode change etc. Also we would like to centrally installing apps. -

Hello. I’m having an issue whereby teachers cannot use the type here to search function on the bottom left hand side of the screen to search for programs. If I logged into the computer as systemadmin and search for Word the Word program come up which it doesn’t happen for the teachers. They have roaming profiles and the app data is redirected to the server as well. The issue is only started when we changed the server from win 2008r2 to 2019. Any idea what it could be? The document search works fine, it seems to be only programs affected. Thanks

Good afternoon everyone. We would like to archive all the data that is on our Microsoft Stream. In Microsoft Teams this is very easy but cannot see any option for this on Microsoft Stream. I contacted Microsoft about it but have not heard back yet. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello. I have applied the script but it only works if I login as systemadmin. I'm not very good with scripts as you can see! Is there a way of running this script on a non administrator account? Can the credentials be added to the script? Thank you

Thank you so much for this! So If I set this up as a startup script it will remove the update but will not restart the machine. Will then the users have to restart their pc to finish the uninstallation process? Thanks
