  1. AppLocker needs enterprise / ultimate - not win7 pro. For most, that means back to SRP
  2. That's a great app (used a while ago), but not the solution for this.
  3. This problem is easy to solve.... Either non reflashable nand, or a secure boot loader (like a phone)
  4. In that case, use this as an opportunity to set up groups. It sucks, yes, but it needs to be done.
  5. Any way you could set the waiting time for members who have been here longer down to 15 seconds instead of 60 seconds? Lost a post on the mobile app because I posted too fast. I understand the anti spam reasons, but after 50 posts, maybe lower it? Thanks.
  6. Most of us here use a domain and won't be affected by this..m
  7. The interactive post is overly complicated. You can run the program without psexec using almost the exact same instructions...
  8. Well, done correctly you have set the ACLs on a group, not direct to the user, so you should just add user 2 to the same groups. If you didn't now would be a great opportunity to fix your ACLs so you are using groups...
  9. This is good news. We need a compatible recovery, then we can try a fastboot flash recovery If we can get a custom recovery, then nandroid away... Edit: lol I just went looking on XDA for a recovery (it happens) and found your post there.
  10. Read one post above yours.
  11. Previous versions shouldn't care if the file was modified. I'm out of ideas here.
  12. Sounds normal to be honest. Would need more info, such as DHCP lease time, if DHCP is authorized to add and remove records from DNS, DNS scavenging setup, etc. Its the PC that is off for weeks still having a record that worries me instead. But possible to explain if you have different configs on each DHCP server.
  13. The files are stored locally or on the server? If server, what OS ?
  14. Migration you say? Try the Microsoft File Server Migration Toolkit.
  15. Going to recommend python. Cross platform, easy to learn, decent debugging.
  16. Uac turned on? Server 2012? If so, the fix I found was make a custom security group and add your account to it.
  17. Use a UNC path instead of G:
  18. Investigate ioncube. Does exactly what you want.
  19. Can you do a and reboot bootloader and see what the status of the boot loader is?
  20. All these types of locking apps are useless. Boot phone into safe mode, then remove said app.
  21. Hook it up to a PC, turn on USB debugging, accept the RSA fingerprint, try a adb reboot bootloader and see if it boots to the boot loader.
  22. A group policy change on those PCs to who is allowed to logon to the PCs (make a separate local group if you want this to be offline workable, this can be done with GPO as well). A scheduled task that runs every x days on the PC to remove all users from that group. They bring it in, you re-add them to the local allowed group.
  23. A nandroid is the best way here for you. Although you will have an issue with identical Android ID's and so on. The correct way would be to build your own custom ROM that can be flashed. Either way, this would be 5 mins per device. Do you know if the bootloader is unlocked? Functional fastboot? I would go with TWRP instead of CWM BTW. Despite the device, they are pretty much the same procedure. Let me know when you get one and I will have you run some commands to see what the status is.
  24. Well, all I could recommend is doing a proper server migration instead of restoring to new hardware...
