Switch to xenforo please. IPB isn't too bad though

Bad nic drivers? Try a stock lenovo image instead of your custom one to test. We have a batch of lenovos that if the bios is updated will not respond to imaging (no network access)
-
VPN mostly. But take a look at remote utilities - free for commercial use (up to 10 PCs)
-
Let me clarify. The stock windows firewall with default settings will block this. Try turning it off as a test and it should work.
-
MDT generates an ISO that you can use to boot the machines. I think you can specify where the image is in this case - could be on a flash drive - but have never tested this.

Firewall rules (windows firewall)

Truth is Chrome is hard to hijack to start with. I find it is one of the easiest browsers to clean up after something has had a run at it. Dead easy to remove extensions, and changing homepage and default search can only be controlled by active extensions anyways....

We use a lot of cyber power ups and they work great.

Don't know where the issue is. You need to do some troubleshooting to figure out where is broke. Gpresult /h is another thing to try

Results of GPresult /h?

Compatbility Setting change Adboe through GPO
MordyT replied to Asiframay's topic in Windows Server 2008
Lot more info needed? What happens if you run it by hand? What errors in the event log? Etc? -
We use a cloud av for the majority of our clients. If the downfalls work for you (for example PC needs an internet connection), go for it. Less hardware / software to manage / maintain is a huge advantage.

New Windows profile?
-
Not quite sure how they do it, but impero can actually unlock the system (as if the end user type in the password). Then you can log them off, etc.
-
DHCP should be handing out your DNS settings. Temp profiles are usually when it can't create a local profile. GPO issues should be troubleshoot with gpresult.

I did. He says sleep vnc and then later on mentions ultra vnc... I assume he meant sleep vnc viewer and I was saying we use ultra vnc viewer. We also had to do a GPO to allow software generated cad though.

On a PC that is having an issue, when gpupdate is throwing that error, begin troubleshooting a connection to the sysvol share
-
Remember last username turned on and no password would do the trick. Not secure, but works.
-
Firewall - both pc and network. Try telnet into the port to confirm the firewall is open.
-
Try a new windows profile. Or try clearing the Credential Manager of all saved passwords

I'm itilv2 certified for 3 years now and despite only one place needing it, it has been a great way to base policies I had to come up with and helped me avoid issues (change management is very good). Despite not needing it, it is good to have.

Does the password work in OWA? Have you tried setting up a new outlook profile
