  2. https://itun.es/gb/fTEibb.l That may help you.
  3. For casting onto external screens, try airserver. I personally would purchase a charge & sync trolley. For printing you can try presto (by collobos) or a lantronix print server For saving pics etc, somebody mentioned a product called foldr but it's quite expensive.
  4. Step 1 First thing I'd do is sign up for a DEP/Apple school manager account (new education equivalent of VPP) and a meraki account. Step 2 Make sure your supplier is a Registered DEP reseller and pass them YOUR DEP code when purchasing so the devices can be supervised and added to your DEP account. This way your devices are supervised without the need for a Mac. Step 3 Setup your meraki profiles and settings. Step 4 Sign into iCloud on your devices for tracking - one Apple ID will suffice for upto 100 devices Add your devices to meraki. Step 5 Purchase your apps via VPP and also add them into meraki. Step 6 Deploy apps using device licensing.
  5. don't overlook the accompanying(or lack of) software with these devices.
  6. BT have got a SIM-only deal at the moment (I think it's still running) with an £80 Amazon voucher and discounted if you're already a BT customer. https://www.productsandservices.bt.com/mobile/sim-order-summary

  18. As long as you won't have more than 100 devices in the long term, you can upgrade your account (if it's an old one) to get all the features. It doesn't solve your issue but I just thought I'd add this.
  19. you can only use those settings for devices that are supervised either through DEP or using AC. chances are probably slim to none for those devices being supervised...
  20. EE are offering a 12 month sim only, unlimited mins/texts and 16 Gb data (with tethering) for £19.99 for new customers. Saw it on HUKD
  21. And a whole lot of expense changing all the parking ticket stations and shopping trolleys
  22. +1 for reinstall. This can also happen if you switch from user-based app assignment to device based assignment. The only solution is to remove the apps and redeploy.
  23. What if you had two accounts with a 100 devices each. Just a thought that's all...
  24. I once found this was a power settings issue on the laptop.
