You could use a crossover between your laptop and the copier and try pinging. It's seems like it's the card anyway but just another method of diagnosing. Thought I'd mention it.

Just curious, How did you add credit to your VPP account?

This is a crazy idea and they will regret it going forward. I'm putting money on the staff not being competent enough to use the 4 tablets, 1 printer and apps you'll be able to afford with £2k.

Install the 32-bit either: 1. Using print management 2. Upload from a x86 machine. This would mean installing the printer manually using the sharename and the x86 driver. Then check under additional drivers to make sure it's there.

Try disabling the point and print restrictions under the user section too. Alternatively you could try installing them as shared printers if you don't mind having a shared print queue.

Hi, one of the schools I look after has had these fitted over the weekend. I'm not sure which model it is (if there is more than one), but what I can tell you is that they seem ok, zero config really, sound is loud and it has pretty much every type of connection you can think of. The USB lead however isn't very long (1.5m) and is wired straight through so is not detachable. So you may have to move the PC closer to the interactive screen or attach another USB lead or something. I've not much else to report yet apart from the fact they don't come with any software equivalent of SMART notebook/ floating tools etc

When I plug in a USB stick into a toshiba c850 win 7 laptop, it fails to install the drivers stating access is denied. I can't also remove the USB hub from within device manager as access is denied. Can't edit the registry as guess what "access denied" Permissions seem screwed here and It's starting to look like a rebuild unless anyone has a fix? Ta

How about the the updated moto g. That has lte. I'm in the market for a dual sim that does LTE. Still waiting for a device to appear.

It doesn't fare brilliantly in the benchmarks either. Decent spec though but the processor/chipset isn't the best.

You could wait for the HTC One e8 which should hit our shores soon. It's supposed to be cheaper than the M8 but still has LTE. not sure which bands it supports though.

I haven't used any meru kit before but it seems like you've got the correct settings for DHCP pass through. you need to dig deeper, get wireshark on like psydii suggested. you may just have a rogue DHCP server somewhere. have you checked the switches for any DHCP config?

Is your DC not also your DHCP server? what does DHCP server report?

Ahh, I have removed the MDM app from the devices. Try that with one iPad.

It is possible to deploy apps to iPads silently without having to enter passwords. Make sure all the iPads are signed in with an apple ID. you have to have individual IDs for each iPad AFAIK. The trick is not to add apps under the apps section. What you do is just assign the licences under the MDM > VPP section. Once the licences are assigned they will deploy automatically. No further action needed. As mentioned by others, it can tend to miss one or two iPads occasionally which can be frustrating. It's not brilliant but it works. Kind of.

You need to sign up IDs through iTunes. 1. Open up iTunes on a PC/laptop or App Store on an iPad. Sign out any Apple ID. 2. Search and select a free app. Click install. 3. When prompted for an Apple ID, click create new and complete the necessary gubbins. When you get to the payment section, it will have 'none' selected. 4. Complete the rest of the sign up and then verify the email that is dispatched on completion.

I have seen devicelink in operation. It's pretty good.
