  1. I did this and actually the 2003 server I moved from vmware to hyper-v was my wds server. I used ntbackup to do a full backup of the machine and then created a new one in Hyper-v and then restored the backup over the top, worked like a charm. Ben
  2. @FN-GM are you using XenApp yourself for the back end? Ben
  3. 0.109 just now Ben
  4. I find it hard to believe that you don't think that your staff can utilize basic functions of a projector in order to protect their pins? Re-use of pins/passwords is bad, you are trying to do something that isn't possible so no matter what your opinion is you will have to use one of the suggested workarounds. Ben
  5. This article? Use Outlook to move information between email accounts - Office Online Ben
  6. Staff should be able to cope with any of the suggestions mentioned including switching inputs on the projector or using the freeze button as unfortunately there doesn't look like there is a native way to achieve what you want so you will have to settle for a compromise. Ben

  10. What course from TheKnowledgeAcademy are you looking at? looks like course availability varies by site as well? although I note there is one near me. For me I found the Firebrand setup excellent and had a firstclass instructor which also makes a difference. Ben
  11. I did my MCITP:SA with Firebrand and Wyboston they have a few other locations in the UK and you are on-site for the whole course, you would have to negotiate hard with them though. Ben

  14. A NowTV whilst it has hdmi out won't let you connect a ipad to it to do anything so I don't even know why that was suggested at the beginning. There was rumours of Apple licensing airplay mirroring to 3rd parties a few years ago 2011 I think it was but it doesn't look like anything has come of it which is a shame as it would be a real bonus so the software solutions have got it to work but I don't think they are a match for a hardware apple tv it's just that like all apple products they rely on a an apple centric setup. Ben

  18. Trying to get any company to budge on items older than 12 months or in your case the combined 14 months is very hard indeed and it depends on how much you value your time to chase and chase them over it in the long run it may be more economical to take the partial refund and put it towards a better tablet. Ben
