    I've tried the above, but they don't load up - does anyone have any ideas regarding this as using the Wrapper.exe program is causing a load of issues as the resolution is fixed.

    Hello everyone, We are wanting to make use of Microsoft Teams as our homework platform from September. We have got the SIMS.net integration all up and working which as created all the class teams, etc. However, our SLT are wondering if there's anyway of getting any statistics from the system in terms of the number of assignments that have been set. Either by teacher or department etc. Is there a way to do this? I am wanting to push Teams as its a homework platform as well as an extension of the classroom and it doesn't cost us anything at all. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Oh that's definitely worth giving a go - can you remember what bit you had to launch? By default the program that's launched is wrapper.exe. Many thanks.

    Dear all, Our MFL department have Studio 1 ActiveTeach. However, when running it on our new Optiplex 3050 desktops running Windows 7, the sound and general usability of the ActiveTeach book is extremely slow and all of the sound and video clips stutter, making it impossible to use. I have contacted Pearson but they have just come back stating that they don't support the installed version of the software and so cannot/will not help me. Has anyone else come across this and if so is there a fix? Many thanks in advance.

    I had that when adding the key to our Server 2012 R2 domain controller. I had to run Windows Update and make sure all the latest updates were installed. I believe it's one of the cumulative updates that allows the key to be added. However, as mentioned it seems the only way of getting it working properly is to inject it into AD (when using ADBA) from a Server 2019 machine and that allows Enterprise LTSC 2019 to activate.

    Yep! Spin up a Server 2019 VM - join to domain - slmgr /ad-activation-online then slmgr /ato Windows 10 LTSC 2019 now activates successfully. Weirdly when you run slmgr /ao-list it shows VOLUME_KMS_WS16 CHANNEL. Would've thought it would say WS19, but never mind...it works!!

    Hello everyone, Struggling to get Windows 10 LTSC 2019 Activated using AD-based Activation. I have added the Server 2019 DataCtr/Std KMS key to Volume Activation Tools on our Server 2012 R2 Domain Controller. It flat out refuses to activate. Have I used the correct host key? Has anyone managed to get it working? Many thanks in advance.

    Hello all, We have just started using InTouch and would like to be able to send a General Student Message (so we can make use of the Student tags to customise) to a user defined group. Our trips manager wants to send a passport reminder to students on the trip. They have setup a user defined group and added the students into this. However, when we go to "Send Student Message" we don't get an option to send it to contacts of students within the User Defined Group. It seems this can only be achieved by using the "General Message" which doesn't have the functionality of adding Student tags. Does anyone know if the above is possible? I really hope so as otherwise its very limited and isn't going to do everything we hoped it would. Many thanks in advance.

    Many thanks indeed for your response. I put the post on the MS Technet website and had exactly the same response. It's very confusing how it's managed to do that. Have now removed the duplicate French and Spanish (the others didn't cause an issue) and the package now adds to the App-V Management successfully. Thanks!

    Hello everyone, I have an unusual issue trying to sequence Algodoo which is a piece of free physics software we are trying to use in school. I can sequence it but when I try adding it to the App-V Management Server so it can be deployed, I am receiving an error message: "The package Algo Physics was not added. An unexpected error occurred while calling AppX Com API. Error: 0x80080205 - The Appx package's block map is invalid. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x80080205)." I have sequence a completely different application using the same sequencing VM (restored to a clean state) and these packages add successfully. So I can only think that it is something within the software (file path, filename that's a reserved word??). The Sequencer version is: App-V 5.1 March 2017 Service running on Windows 7 SP1 x86 (I have also tried my x64 sequencer VM with identical version of the sequencer to no avail) Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.     Thanks for you response. Yes, there is a null printer setup - I followed the PaperCut documentation on how to get a null printer setup on macOS. The printers are available to select in Profile Manager but they do not appear on the client when you go to print a document.

    Hello everyone, I have installed a PaperCut MF secondary server on our Mac Mini server and have created each of the MFDs as well as the Virtual Print Queue for the hold/release queue. However, when adding the Virtual Print Queue to Profile Manager (for a device group), the printer does not appear on the clients and says, "No Printer Selected". I click the Printer drop down and it is empty. Looking at the "Profiles" part of "System Preferences" it shows that this particular part has applied to the client. The Virtual Print Queue is set to use the Generic Postscript Driver as mentioned on a PaperCut help topic. Any help would be greatly appreciated as I am beginning to tear my hair out with it!! Thanks.

    I got it working (apart from the issue above) by doing: 1. Set your Wireless Access Points/Controller to forward RADIUS accounting to Smoothwall (I created a new shared key between the APs and Smoothwall) ensuring that RADIUS authentication is still going to your NPS. 2. Add your Access Points/Controller to the "Authorised RADIUS Clients" part of "Services -> BYOD". If you have controller-less APs you can specify a CIDR mask so you don't have to enter each and every AP to the list. 3. Under "Forward RADIUS accounting to" enter your NPS Server information and the appropriate shared key. 4. In NPS, you will need to add the Smoothwall appliance as a RADIUS Client. Once done, you just need to ensure the Transparent Proxy authentication method is set to "Negotiate NTLM/Kerberos (with redirect). Once this was done, it started working as expected. I.e. Connect to BYOD SSID with AD credentials and then authentication to Smoothwall was seamless. Hope this helps. (Doesn't resolve the error I keep getting - have emailed SmoothWall regarding it but as mentioned, at a high level it appears to be working as expected).

    Many thanks for your response. We are using Aerohive. After having a further look into this I have managed to get it working, by forwarding only Accounting information to Smoothwall whcih then in turns forwards it onto the NPS server. It seems to all be working as expected from a high level. However, when running the "Functionality Tests" tools it displays the following error: I am currently stuck on resolving this, but am slowly making some progress with it! Many thanks.

    Hello everyone, We have a Smoothwall UTM which is bound to Active Directory so can automatically identify users what are logged into the school domain. However, we are slowly rolling out BYOD for both students and staff and I would like to make use of RADIUS for the user authentication and have Smoothwall automatically log the user in without them getting another login page. Currently our school managed laptops are authenticated onto our managed SSID using RADIUS machine authentication. This is done using a 2012 R2 NPS VM and has been working for almost a year without any issues. I would like to, therefore, continue making use of the NPS for the user authentication for BYOD. I understand that I need to somehow forward RADIUS accounting onto the Smoothwall box so that I can make use of the SSO funtionality. My question is: how do I go about doing this and getting it setup? I have contacted Smoothwall and they sent me a response but I am still not fully understanding what I need to do. Thought I'd ask on here as I'm sure someone has done it and got it working well Many thanks in advance and hope the above makes sense.

    Hello all, We are trying to clear out old/redundant reports in SIMS, however, when trying to do so we keep getting the following message appear: "Unable to delete report : It is being used in Scheduled Report run" How can we remove it from the scheduled report run? They were created by another member of staff who has long left the school. We have temporarily reinstated their SIMS login but they don't have anything under the "Focus -> Alerts -> Schedule Reports" dialog. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Would be good if System Managers could see all reports that are being Scheduled in SIMS so they can remove/edit them as required. Thanks!

    Hello everyone, Trying to get Codecademy Learn SQL but it is refusing to work. Looking into it in more depth it would appear that our Smoothwall proxy is blocking WebSockets (both WS and WSS). How can I allow WebSockets through the Proxy? If I set my work computer to bypass the Guardian/Proxy then it functions as expected. Many thanks in advance. Kind regards,

    Hello everyone, Just trying to get the Timetable feature working. I have done the export from SIMS, and entered UPNs into the employeeID field in AD. However, when going to the Timetable.aspx page nothing happens and using the Inspect function of Chrome the following error is displayed: timetable.aspx:148 Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'getDate' of undefined Any help would be greatly received.     Many thanks for your response - however, if I want to access ftp.dell.com for example it won't let me. How do I get round this?

    FTP is allowed. When trying to access a FTP site in IE it just hangs and doesn't go anywhere and when trying it in Google Chrome it comes up with that authentication failed page.

    Hello everyone, Yet another Smoothwall question from me. Since installing the Smoothwall appliance we are no longer able to access any remote FTP Sites such as ftp.dell.com. I get a "Kerberos/NTLM authentication failed" page displayed. What do I need to do to allow access to remote FTP Sites? Many thanks in advance.
