  1. At least next season at Villa Park I can sing "its just like watching Brazil" and mean it!
  2. A good webpage to look at to figure out what commands do what: Manage Azure AD using Windows PowerShell - - - Updated - - - A good webpage to look at to figure out what commands do what: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj151815.aspx
  3. I would like to add that if you use RM Network Recycle Bin you will need to be running version 2.84: DWN3878446 And if running RM Virus Protect you need to be running version 6.2: DWN3885210 Don't think there was anything else.
  4. Yes it can be done, but I am far from impressed with the RM take on Windows 8.1. My two major issues are: 1. Instead of launching the "metro" screen you get the all applications one instead. If you have a lot of software installed this list is massive! 2. To log out you have to go into the all applications menu and then into the "metro" menu (or press start twice), click the username in the top right and then logout. It is far from intuitive.
  5. Sound like a possible way forward, I would just need to take that machine off DHCP.
  6. I have been asked repeatedly to allow access to Facebook for a member of staff so we can have an official presence on there, I do not have a problem with this. My issue is that because we are still on a BGFL connection its all or nothing; if I have it unfiltered, everyone will have access. It simply will not happen there is no way we are going to allow access to Facebook en masse (plus it directly contradicts our esafety policy). I have made several suggestions including the member of staff updating from their phone or at home (not ideal). How have any of you got around this or have any of you bit the bullet and allowed access? In the long term it appears we will move away but as always people want it and they want it now! Any ideas?

  9. I got 100% for Apple, I could tell you how but wouldn't want to spoil for others.
  10. Learn the acronym PEBKAC and you should be fine!
  11. Just had word through that they are removing the local proxy servers. I'm scheduled to be moved to the load balancer on Monday.
  12. I think you are right, the way Germany defended against Algeria you have got to think that France will be able to exploit that.
  13. Installation of Aerohive and actually having some holiday during the 6 weeks for the first time since 2005.
  14. You can also achieve this by adding /NoUpdate at the end of the shortcut, you can also use /NoInstrumentation to stop it from sending info to Microsoft.
  15. Not found a way of doing it. As we have roaming profiles it only happens once on first run, our IT department were happy enough with that.
  16. +1 From past experience transparent proxy is the only way to do this reliably across the multitude of devices that comes with BYOD.
  17. Ta, will give it a try this afternoon.
  18. Sorry to bring up an old thread but @rush_tech @fiza how did you deploy the capture software? I have 15 of these things and I'm not going to install the software for them all manually. Alternatively if anyone knows of any good free webcam capture software (stills and video) that could be deployed as the standard software is very poor.
  19. I will only increase my offer if it is capable of doing my weekly ironing.
  20. Get in! I will PM you my address now.
  21. I have some string (length non-negotiable)
  22. Those pictures reminded of http://www.fornogoodreasonmovie.com
  23. That is the most decent thing I have ever heard! Well done that man! Can't wait for Saturday, there are going to be fireworks.
