We're currently the largest Ruckus reseller in Europe, Middle East and Africa, so we like to think we know what we're doing At the moment Ruckus are running a special education wireless bundles, for example in one bundle you can get an 1112 ZoneDirector, this is a controller than can handle up to 12 APs and is scalable, you also get 6 x 7372 access points that are new to the market all covered under 5 years support for £2,694. Ubiquiti has become a popular product in education as it seems to offer a good solution at a low price. It may also be worth considering looking at Ruckus who have some education bundles at the moment. These combine the controller, Aps and support all in one package and at a really reduced price. They're available in the UK for all education establishments currently. If it was of interest I can contact Ruckus directly to see if they are available in America, and also put you in touch with a supplier. However as i'm sure you will find out, there is a lot of love on here for Ubiquiti Good luck with the project.

That is the only problem with it being London based, if you're not living there or very local it does become an expensive trip. Unless of course you're able to get it covered through work as a research trip as there will be a 15 minute Palo Alto Network presentation before the film

We are really interested in getting some feedback from users it's a new solution to Net-Ctrl, but we really like the look of it, so we're looking forward to hearing everyone's likes and dislikes, as are Kaspersky. haha @plexer you never know I need to make a decision soon about prizes as well...we may we may look at giving some free Ruckus APs for your home use each day, or going for something bigger that will be given away the following week, but there would only be one of them.

We resell Overland Storage, and from what you have mentioned above it sounds right up the street of their DX series. If you were interested in some more information/costing even if just to act as a comparison to the QNAP solution you're looking at would you be able to let me know the following: -How much storage you're looking for -What level of redundancy you would like -Drive sizes you would like to use -Which QNAP box you're looking at -Predicted growth over the next few years

If you are only looking to cover two classrooms and wanted to go down a Ruckus route you would be able to buy two standalone Ruckus units. If you were also thinking about site wide wireless for your school in the UK we currently have some special priced bundles for education. For example you can get an 1112 ZoneDirector which supports up to 12 access points with 6 x 7372 access points, which are some of the latest to hit the market from Ruckus and 5 years support all for £2,694. However, i'm not 100% sure if that offer is available in Oz. If it's not i apologise for dangling a carrot If it was something you were interested in I will speak to Ruckus to find out if it is available to you and also for some supplier contacts in your area that would be able to help.

From the feedback I have seen on here Unifi seems to do a good job with wireless, it's not a solution I know a great deal about personally though. I have seen on a lot of the third party testing documents that they have said they tend to not handle a great deal of traffic very well. Our sister company CNS Ltd is a physical security supplier and installer that have done a lot of work in education.
