Apologies if this is a dumb question, I don't have a Macbook to try any fixes on. Parents/pupils are now using Classroom but some seem to have issues viewing some of the embedded stuff..like if a jpg is on an assignment or a video, They click on it and it opens up in a popup. Anyone know the setting to sort this. A user sent me a screenie of a jpg that just showed the name of the jpg instead of the popup.

Sorted it, I added the DMARC record to block nothing and report to me.. didn't really help till I realised I'd added another SPF record (years ago) for GMAIL. I removed it and they are working now. We use Fusemail too which confuses the matter.

Morning, This has just come to my attention and I can't figure it out. We use split delivery for our emails. They go into O365 for staff and if they aren't in there they get sent to GMAIL for the pupils. All works lovely. Problem is google emails are getting rejected with a DMARC error. Everything else is fine. Gmailing seems okay, its when they get invitations to edit docs it fails. 550-5.7.26 Unauthenticated email from google.com is not accepted due to domain's 550-5.7.26 DMARC policy. Our SIMS manager was complaining it takes 30 seconds to upload each PDF to the kids record. Its always ran as a dog for me.

Sorry I meant it doesn't automate from SIMS, I've got GCDS automating from AD on a scheduled task already. I did think the two syncs wouldn't play well together, especially with the CSV uploading.

We use GADS now which syncs with our AD, I've had a look at the classroom sync from Google but its not automatic which obviously Wonde is.

I did see all of S1 where the twist happened, I wasnt sure I wanted to do S2 in case it happened again. I do like the cast though, Ted is great.

Hi, Anyone use WONDE to sync with GC? I got a bit excited when I saw it was £40 but that's per month so it would need to be perfect to justify that amount on a sync tool. We've got WONDE already for about 5 apps and it just works so makes sense to stick with this.

They also send the SMS service is a bolt on and recommended Clicksend, anyone use this? Just thinking of emergency closures etc... when a app notification isn't enough.

That's the response I just got from them, they are still working on a Azure logon (been 12 months since I first asked) but the MS and Google buttons are available now for Staff and Learners. As we use MFA for google accounts and Google uses Azure to authenticate I'd hope it would MFA prompt them.

I've been asking for this for a while now and there may be some movement. I'm hoping it would replace our messaging service to offset the cost. I have asked them but wondered if anyone else would know Does it do MFA for staff? I'd be slightly concerned if staff were allowed to access the data on their personal devices.. especially the app. Is there a mail merge function, we send out personalised letters using our existing messaging service which picks up their admission number in sims in the document title and distributes it to parents. Are parents alerted when a new document arrives? As in if a letter is sent out.

Hi, Probably a long shot and I have no idea what the data is but we have an A-Level chemistry class that is using the site Annotator and when they are clicking on the tracks its coming up with a 416 error. When the teacher spoke to them they mentioned other schools are having the same issues and haven't managed to solve it. Anyone hit the same issue? We are using a XG box and some of the other tracks seem to work.. and it works offsite fine so its a block somewhere.

Ive just updated to the latest firmware (4.0.80.10875) and one on them is emailing me the error event: {"event_string":"EVT_conntrack_full"} now. No disconnects for the past 4 hours.

I have a similar situation. I actually bought a UNIFI switch to see if it would make any difference and it was rock solid for 5 days.. till today one reported as disconnected. (can still ping and connect) I rebooted the port and it came back. Haven t had chance to look further into it yet.

I've just got a Little US-8-150W to play with. Where have you been on my life??? Getting names of devices plugged in, the VLAN stuff is simples and the ability to manage everything in one place. Very impressed to far.

I think it was because they were so old, I bought a couple of newer ones off eBay and they work fine.
