  1. Damnit, this was working as expecting and now its stopped for some reason. It used to redirect me to the M$ logon when I went to Google drive but now its staying on the google logon page. The SSO is still working though.
  2. I was looking to offset the increased cost of the leased line against the savings of the free phone calls. They gave us almost £3k towards the install but I need to check if that's for a 3 year or 5 year deal.
  3. Hi, We've just got our pricing from Openreach for installing a 100/100 bearer and I was really hoping the cost would be absorbed with the grant but its still come out at £2k. What sort of prices have people experienced with this sort of install, I know different sites have different obstacle and I've heard some massive quotes. We want to move onto SIP from ISDN but we don't have a money tree.
  4. I always try and help, our staff are nice so I'm happy to. It doesn't usually take long to fix most of their stuff and people know what I like to drink so the rewards are worth it. I've got one now where they've bought a etching pad that wont work on the laptop, had it for over a week as they realise I'll sort it when I have time... stupid framework 4.5 wont install but its Windows 8.. urrggghh/
  5. Sorted it thanks, I hadn't put a senders name in.. i'd put the email in just missed that bit out.
  6. Hi, Can someone offer some advise about this. We have Sharp copiers that we used to scan to a onsite exchange server before I moved to the cloud. I've removed the onsite one now ready to go fully cloud but am struggling with the MFP settings. I can't get direct scan to work so I made a IIS SMTP server which links to O365. I've got this working, if I drop an email into the SMTP pickup folder it sends it to me perfectly. If I go into the scanner and send an Email Status Report that comes through fine also but when I try and scan I get a bad email error on the SMTP server. Diagnostic-Code: smtp;554 5.2.0 STOREDRV.Submission.Exception:SendAsDeniedException.MapiExceptionSendAsDenied; Failed to process message due to a permanent exception with message Cannot submit message. I have tried delegating (found on a search) but that doesn't make sense as its the SMTP server that's connecting to the O365 server and just relaying. Don't understand why its working from the copier for the report and not from the scanning, they are sending from the same address. Anyone offer advice?
  7. I just did this setting and it works for us, it redirects to the O365 logon page. The users didn't have to change their passwords either.
  8. Revisiting this I managed to get it working... even works at home, redirecting me to my MS logon page with SSO. My setups a bit weird as I have Google mail for pupils and O365 mail for staff so I dont want to do ny provisioning in Google, I'd rather still use GADS. Just in time as the stupid GAPS stopped working for me so everyonw is out of sync.
  9. Belated thanks Nick, I had to set into the setup to fix it.
  10. The Arrow/Flash/Supergirl crossovers are really good this time.... love the Gotham bits.

    PDQDeploy

We pay for the enterprise and have the free inventory package. Its pretty easy making new packages, we deploy office with it (even 2019). I just it to push reg keys in emergencies and packages. Mainly I use the auto deploy feature to keep files stream, chrome, flash etc up to date as they deploy after they are releases.
  12. One of the people here realised they don't check your validity and changes the digits on here driving license number to keep getting one... she is 30 now. Absolutely disgusting if you ask me
  13. We watched this on Saturday night, was a fun film.. nicely adult without going OTT.
  14. I did think that but wouldn't each individual in the photo have to consent.. I'd have to rely on them giving me the correct information.
  15. Hi, Wonder if someone could answer this for me please. We have been sent a publication with photographs of overseas (from Thailand) visitors who came to our school for a visit which we would like to publish. If we publish what they have sent is it ok that we haven't got consent from them to do it.. they weren't fluent English speakers so would have been an interesting conversation. PS. I know its probably a stupid question, sorry
  16. Hi, I've upgraded a few machines to Office 2019 and I noticed it doesn't use WSUS to update. I've set the Group policy to enable updates and the other policies in the Office 2016 (Machine) section but just wondered how successful people have found this. I forced the update on my work PC to get the version number (16.0.10338.20019) so I have a reference in PDQ Inventory to see if any are updating. How quickly do they usually update, I've only set the GP today so am being a bit impatient.
  17. 63kb\sec boom
  18. I updated a couple of rooms to Office 2019 x64 over half term and its not going well. Access - for some reason its coming up with an unable to communicate with OLE server.. I found out that if you open IE first it lets you through so a filtering issue. Powerpoint - wasn't letting them open a PP from the link, they have to open PP first then browse to it Word - permission issue with compatibility mode meaning they couldn't save as.. very weird issue so ended up copying and pasting to a new word doc Word - Trying to print kills Word, the print driver is the latest so need a workaround for that too, Fun fun fun
  19. The demo interface of the Sophos I've looked at is lovely and the reports look great. I'm wary of moving from SW to be honest, I've spent years getting it right but my UTM box is 7 years old now and I am sick of the clunkiness of SW.
  20. I can't get this working, I click on the tile and it takes me to the google sign in page.
  21. I've redone it a couple of times but its not working, it fills in the username but not the password. I just need the google drive for staff too so will need make a new tile.
  22. Evening all, Quick question, i have been playin with LTSC deployment on a VM and Server 2019. I've got the first stage of deployment working with selecting the image automatically and configuring the partitions so all i do is just sign in. The next phase is bit trickier. Will an answer file for 1803 work? Also, 1809 has the security questions.. An answer file should be able to bypass them too shouldn't it. I haven't used answer files for decades since it was simple text doc. I miss XP
  23. Can't wait, Ding Dang Do
  24. Can this be turned on and off for different groups? I'm using groups to assign licenses and MFA to staff in Azure.
  25. Yeah I've got that, its the SSO part of Google I was wondering about.
