Shouldn't matter, windows will just make a local one, surely it's only minor customizations such as default apps that the profile is holding? You'd be able to prove profile or something else pretty quickly and then move them back to roaming by puting the path to profile back into AD?

Tried swapping that user to a local profile?

Does it follow a particular user around or is it completely random?

That looks like an SSL error? Can you check to see if anything on your filtering is interfering?

Can I confirm if this is available on the downloaded version of Office 365 as my MAT are rumbling about wanting to use it on all computers instead of our seperately licensed versionof 2016-19 and this would be a total deal breaker as the staff use it practically daily to produce labels and certificates.

Honestly, I just read the manual for the switch in question. The differences in OS between former 3Com switches, Old Aruba, Old Pro-Curve and current offerings makes it very difficult to just 'learn HP' I have a mix of all 3 types and making them talk to one across multiple links, when one requires a 'Trunk', one requires a LAG and one requires nothing because LACP is permanently enabled to all do the same thing, is a bit of a challenge.

Post 1703 I believe this breaks the connectivity indicator such that it will never show internet which is not what the OP wants! The official fix is to point the settings in my post to something internal to bypass the external connectivity check.

This is controlled by a few settings that may have changed, or have started respecting something that was set before. Check that an example machine has the following settings under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NlaSvc\Parameters\Internet If those are set as per the image then the problem is either a bug in 20H2 which some people have reported, or it is an issue with proxy detection, or something your ISP is doing.

Have you tried the mapped drives via GPP as I'm not seeing any issues at all using that and I have shares mapping to different OS and in different domains via a trust and they're still nigh on instant.

I just do it manually. I find it quicker and more reliable than trying to get sync to work. We also seem to quite frequently have situations where we need one to continue to function but not the other so the sync option is more of a hindrance than a help anyway.
