  1. @RPSHullbridge Can I just clarify what licences you have and how you pay for them as I am bit confused by your description and how you have the A1 Plus licences? 1. The 365 A1 Plus licence is not free. You get this if you have the free A1 licence and licence The MSI version of Office via an OVS-ES agreement (this gives you the entitlement for the 365 ProPlus licence and MS nicely wrap this up into a new licence called A1 Plus). 2. If you use A1 Plus licence then you can just use Device Based Activation for the 365 ProPlus client (details available elsewhere on this site). No need for anyone to sign in to office. We use this and it works very nicely.
  2. Every teacher gets a laptop and possibly an iPad depending on their role. Every classroom has a desktop for the IWB.
  3. Have you taken a look at SCCM for Windows 10 upgrades? Whilst the learning curve might be steep it is, IMO, the best way to manage Win 10 in various aspects, and its cheap if you have an OVS-ES you can add it on to.
  4. Which method are you trying? DBA with the Education A1 Plus licence or the Office 365 ProPlus for Education (device)? The A1 Plus is not available through a reseller.
  5. If you use loopback you can set the default printer with GPPs targeted at devices, which is very useful..
  6. Personally I don't see the benefit in grouping updates by years and group them by products as below: This way, each software update group used by the ADRs can be targeted at a collection with the machines that need the updates. So for example, the Windows 10 1903 machines only need to evaluate the updates for 1903 to see if they need them. Why make machines evaluate loads of updates that you already know they don't need?
  7. @DrCheese I have just manually installed 365 C2R using the A1 Plus licences and DBA on several devices to test this, and all ran through perfectly fine. So the method is still supported.
  8. I don't believe that is correct. Geting the A1+ is based on you having a volume agreement for Office (eg via OVS-ES) See my post here: http://www.edugeek.net/forums/cloud-services/190626-office-365-a1-plus-faculty-licences-missing.html#post1692150 My advice is to take screenshots of the relevant MS pages saying that you are entitled and giving them your agreement number. As I posted above, it took me a really, really long time to get to the right person so you have to be persistent.
  9. Shows how well IPv6 adoption is going...
  10. Oh dear, issues with Cloudflare again...
  11. Schoolcomms -> PSConnect -> Schoolcomms. Sticking with SC from now on
  12. Yeah general all round weirdness today. Also... Discord!?
  13. @VeryPC have been very good for servers for us
  14. @VeryPC Errrr.... I should win something as I've spent ages thinking up a brilliant answer and the winner was announced before the competition closed
  15. Thanks everyone. I have a tendency to push myself too hard (which is why I have injured myself a few times) so I'll definitely heed the advice to take it slowly. I actually have no idea what I want to achieve now. I was focussed on getting to 5k and didn't think beyond that. I guess next goal is 10k
  16. Well I can now run 5k in 30mins comfortably so am looking to build up. What do you guys do to increase your distance?
  17. Thanks! This looks awesome. How did I not know about this before! :S
  18. @jdoyle @pooley Congrats guys that's amazing! After a couple of ankle problems that set me back I managed my first 5k yesterday
  19. That is absolutely amazing. There's just too much to pick out, but its incredible to think that even in '85 rear seatbelts were an optional extra. In the video the kids are in the back seat with no belts whilst the car is bombing down the motorway! I remember, as a kid, my dad paying extra for seltbelts in the back for me and my brother!
  20. American Gods is back which is fantastic. However, I still hate the title sequence, its just the worst.
  21. I've used @Millgate before who did a super job for a reasonable price. I have done them myself before but my issues has always been getting the screen to sit properly where the screen cables lie. And I've found that if you fiddle around too much getting the screen on the wires are liable to break.
  22. Don’t think so. The sims 8 primary page still looks like you can’t get it yet, despite “being available form early 2018” [emoji6]
