I've used Compare It! and Beyond Compare before.

On ours we need to run regserver to make it work - might be an option to try. "C:\Program Files (x86)\PTC\ProDESKTOP 8.0\Program\ProD.exe" /regserver "C:\Program Files\PTC\ProDESKTOP 8.0\Program\ProD.exe" /regserver

Has anyone recently moved from Smoothwall to Sophos XG? What was your experience? Also we'd like to know what you think about Sophos XG. We're considering moving to it for our filtering system.

Not sure about warranty - but we have fitted 3 of these no problem. You might need two people for certain parts of the job though.

I'm sure I read before that if you smelt all the gold ore that has been mined to date, it would only fill 1 Olympic sized swimming pool. Might be completely wrong there, but I think it was on QI before.

Problems In Connecting a KONICA MINOLTA 7222 Photocopier To A Network
Maz commented on pak_guy's blog entry in pak_guy's Blog
I'd try first removing the Switch out of the situation, install it on one machine, print a test page, share it, connect from another computer, test it again. Failing that, try Konica's Universal Driver available from their website. -

Pupils 'bypassing school internet security
Maz replied to eduabncs's topic in Internet Related/Filtering/Firewall
But surely we can block 3G signals too? We have to be able to monitor them as well? Even though they are nothing to do with us, and are a mix of the phone companies / parents job to do that. Either that, or give them the key to the wireless - which is alot faster, but less secure, and filtered. Or as opposed to giving them the key, make it Open connection so everyone who lives nearby can access the 'majority' of the net that they can. Pupils will only get smarter, its called evolution - its the job of the Network Manager / Technicians to be up to speed with these techniques and troubleshooting ways that they can be counter attacked. -
Weirdest thing you’ve ever been asked for by a staff/student in an IT office?
Maz replied to dannyjay's topic in General Chat
"Can you fix this stapler for me?" Tried, but got bored - Network Manager got curious, he got bored and binned it. -
I shall be adding you shortly, got MW2, AC2 and Fifa2010 coming today
