If you are really that bothered, the first thing to do would be to check the conditions of the sale. Looks like a new estate, is it finished? Are there, like many new estates, clauses in your contract that state that the house builders can correct this kind of thing until the whole estate is finished and handed over?

Not sure about any of it. WDS is fine on 2012r2 WSUS isn't dead Whilst MS are heading toward InTune, MDT is still very much supported.

After extensive testing of OPPTransistion and DBA I have concluded that it no longer works for newer versions of the 365 source. For example, deploying version 16.0.10228.20080 works flawlessly yet version 16.0.12026.20344 has lots of issues (for example won't activate as part of an SCCM OSD TS and requires running of the OPPTransition manually after OSD completes and needs the device record clearing from 365 if redeploying). Therefore you can still deploy an old version of 365 with OPPTransition and DBA and just let it update to the latest version.

Oh yes sorry it was with the 365 support team, they are the only ones that can fix this (despite them telling you otherwise). Working with MS support can just be the worst.

I had this logged under ticket #10764501 This might help them understand how to resolve the issue. Also here is a screenshot of the active licences on our tenant so they can see that the licence exists (I had that thrown at me).

Persistence. I had the same issue and it only took persistence to have the ticket escalated to someone who knew about the A1+ that made it happen. Basically you need to be added to the list of school eligible for the licence but need to get hold of someone who knows how to do it. I'll see if I can dig out my ticket number, that might help.

So I've been deploying Office again today and did run into a small problem. Reimaged machine were failing to activate Office via the OPPTransistion.exe DBA method (asking for user sign in and serial key) but new machines were ok. Solved the reimaging problem by logging into 365 admin area, going to the device's user records and deauthorising the office activation for each device. Those machines then activated fine. So the OPPTransistion method is still working for us but, for some reason, we now seem to have to remove the activation from within 365 to reinstall and reactivate. Which is a bit annoying really.

Yep we have run some of the 48 port PoE switches for a few years now with zero issues. Seriously impressed with them for the price. Only minor negative is that the fans can be extremely noisy on the PoE versions so we wouldn't really be able use them in any areas near users.

Correct... but you could look at efficiency of creating synthetic full backups and copying those offsite compared to the reverse incremental solution. Yep if are copying the first backup and all the increments but again look at the synthetic backup idea.

Eh!? Which licences? The deal is, if you have Office volumed licenced through OVS-ES (no matter what the FTE count is) then you can use the 365 ProPlus licences AND you have the free 365 A1 licences then you are entitled to the 365 A1 Plus licence that enables the DBA. Resellers are nothing to do with the A1 Plus licence. It *should* happen automatically but doesn't always. (Or have I read your post wrong)

Forgive me if I being stupid here, but aren't Apple and Android Pay via a phone already more secure as you have to supply a fingerprint to authorise the transaction? Anyone can take a chip and pin card and wave it at a machine but they couldn't steal a phone and use it to pay for things... right?

We don't seem to have any issues with users without a 365 licence using Office 365 C2R. Even if it was an issues its easy to fix as you have unlimited A1 Plus licences so just licence all your users. You can even automate it in Azure AD so that any new users are assigned a licence when synced.
