'A' roads around here in poor condition, any hills blocked by cars. More on the way... I'll decide what I do in the morning.

They would only have 7 resistors in stock. I hear they are having trouble selling it off. Only got 4 out of 5 stores in stock. I gave up on them years ago.

A looong time ago, I bought for work a Revox PR99, which in its time was a serious bit of kit. Reel - to reel running at 15" / sec, real time counter, easy to edit on. Weighed a tonne, with three huge motors and a cast aluminium frame. Cost £thousands. Mini-disk came out within a year, and affordable editing on a PC shortly after.

Maybe if Hunt had know it was on offer, he wouldn't have tried so hard to hang on to his current "job"?

I replaced an old backboiler/gas fire thing with a combi.. In the following properly cold winter, I used HALF the gas I used the year before. Don't I wish I'd done that YEARS ago?

Allegedly had some early this morning, I didn't see it. However, there are photos around of it sticking a few miles away beyond Winchester.
