    The documentation says: A graphics card that supports DirectX 9.0c and Shader Model 2.0 or higher is required... So I'm still not sure but am I scuppered if I want to upgrade the graphics card??

    My experience of upgrading GFX cards is limited...do you have any links or anything to those cards you are referring to? Our budget is probably £50 or less. I also noticed that the slot for the GFX card says next to it "ADD2 support only" Thanks for your help x x

    Can anyone recommend some software that will allow children around 9 years old to make a game, preferably a 2D platform type game where you can import your own graphics etc... and then export it as Flash so anyone can play it??? Help would be appreciated very much!

    We let them go on Friv for those games but I've downloaded some freeware stuff for them that they absolutely love.

    What I do at the moment is have the games on the PC in my office and the children access them from there. No program data is stored locally on the machines. It seems to run pretty well. Also, I'd like to store MSI packages on there for any new builds that I put in as I have automatic software installation setup on our server.

    Hi, We have a breakfast club here at school and the children like to play games. We have a few network games, single player games etc... In order for the children to access them I used to store them on our 'public' partition on our server (2003). Now due to the size of it and recent space issues I moved it to another PC and shared the folder on the network- redirecting the shortcuts in the profile folder to the new PC. The only trouble is it's my office PC as I'm not sure what the best thing is to do. Would setting up an Application Server be the best thing? We have an old Dell desktop with Dual core and 1Gb RAM that I thought could be suitable. If so- how do i do it and what's the best way to do it?

    Hello, We're suddenly having an issue whereby when a user logs on, the Internet homepage (which I have done via Group Policy) doesn't load. If you press refresh or the home button...it loads. It's only started happening recently. Any ideas? Just to add, even though it has never been a problem before, we have an 'All Computers' GPO container and also an 'All Users' GPO containers (pretty standard I suppose) but the Group Policy object 'Internet Explorer Proxy Settings' is in both. Could this have an effect too?

    Hi, I'm having trouble getting our Macbook repaired. We have Apple Care but it looks like i'm going to have to drive 40 miles to take it in to get serviced.. Do Apple let you post them in for repair?

    It's funny- there are always time issues with things like this. Whacking something up for sale is quick- formatting, finding OS disks, installing new OS...just takes so much time when there are billions of other priorities to be doing. It's a challenge

    I suppose it's ok with things like wireless access points, monitors etc... but when it comes to PC's there are data protection issues i do believe- which can cause legal issues if not adhered to.

    The trouble with giving them away free on ebay is people would just sell them on for a profit and school would gain nothing other than giving their equipment away to a profiteer. At least by recycling it the equipment goes somewhere it will be used...

    Everything needs to be above board and I can't, at the moment, see any way of doing it without complications. Ho hum. Back to the drawing board!!

    School is the priority without a doubt. I've been having a chat to the head about it and we've decided to leave it for now until we can come with a solution. It's such a simple process made so complicated by red tape.
