Hi All, One of my schools is wanting to get some e-readers (most likely the sony ones). Does anyone know the score with ebook licences? For example if we have 10 readers would we need to buy the book 10 times (logic says yes) or can we buy it once and copy it to all 10 readers? I'm presuming we would have to buy 10X each book, but I was just wondering if any one knew for sure. Thanks, Dan

We buy compats that come with a guarantee. If they don't work or damage the printer the company will foot the bill (supposedly). So far we haven't had to pursue that option.

I think it depends on how many servers you have. From the sounds of it most people on this thread are from secondary schools (hense many servers). I'm at primary schools so have one server per school that does everything so to me it doesn't matter what I call the server. I do however use structured names for clients (Room1-IWB, Room2-01 etc.).

I once had an ICT suite (if you can call it a suite) of 7 desktops so they were named Happy, Dopey, Grumpy etc. I found staff remembered which one they were working on when named like this.
