    We have a green roof and I've made sure the Wi-Fi reaches it ready for this summer (the whole week of it). We're an eco school, veg patch, self regulating windows and vents, recycled toilet water etc. No solar panels though. Don't think we get enough sun here, a wind turbine would be more beneficial here at the moment.

    I usually get this problem when the VGA splitter isn't powered. Is it possible a fuse has gone on a plug or similar?

    Maybe. It looks like they may have had to cut the trees down to put in that slope of concrete which is to presumably stop it happening again?

    I use Advanced Proxy add-on for IPCop and SmoothWall and URL filter add-on for IPCop and SmoothWall with smoothwall express which together allow custom expressions which when typed in or detected anywhere it blocks them.

    Would it be possible to put deny permissions for selected groups on the All Users/Desktop folder? Computer Config > Windows Settings > Security Settings > File System. Add the all users/desktop and apply deny permissions. Not tested but in theory it should work.

    How does this work with accounts? Does each student have to have their own account or do you have a few accounts for the school?

    I think the LA like to do various tests before rolling it out to schools so I'm happy to wait for them. Plus like mentioned I usually wait for the 'It broke my...' before upgrading.

    I know what you mean. I also feel like this when getting quotes. Especially if a school asks how much something is, I get quotes for them and the schools says thanks but we're not ordering until next year. It would be interesting to here the thoughts of some of the people who do the quotes. I know there are many on here.

    Thanks all, I finally managed to do it. I ended up using a mixture of create from scratch and auto tracing and manually adjusting in Inkscape.

    I've only got photoshop elements and inkscape. I've already had a google and had a play with drawing paths round our logo, to which my results weren't amazing. I was just wondering if anyone had any tips or things to make it easier. Thanks, Dan
