No. You can set managed Chromebooks to only allow certain domains between certain times though - but they have to be managed and they aren't limited between on and off prem.

We use Bromcom's built in Google integration, which has been great for us. It relies on other staff keeping staff records in Bromcom up to date, but it creates our users without issue.

Scratch files can be downloaded and attached in Classroom like any other file. You need to shift thinking when it comes to delivery with the cloud.

Google Classroom should be used for handing out and submitting work. Its a shift in the way of thinking, but its far more and better ultimately for students and staff.

Because your customers have been pushed to do the work in triplicate, including being given a week's notice of the third issue of a certificate - right in the middle of exams season - then sure, job well done by your customers inspite of all of the mess they've been presented with.

The strongest part of SIMS is the assessment features, and Bromcom's assessment features are at least on par, if not exceeding SIMS. It's assessment features are really simple to use, and that's part of it's power. In fact, it has a built in primary tracker which absolutely negates the need to be bringing in third party tools. Don't get me wrong, I like Arbor (though I could do without its brown UI) but it's definitely behind SIMS and Bromcom when it comes to assessment.

This is writeback to your MIS from a sign in system, so if they mark themselves as late when they arrive on the system it'll write back. This is what organisations like Becta should've been for. Creating standards like APIs that schools/suppliers could all work with.

Yes, I would look at a Securly or Lightspeed for the Parental Control side of things. We have Lightspeed and have been thoroughly impressed so far. idP - Third party ID provider.

Control it in what way? If you want to limit sign in between certain hours, you'd probably need to find an idP that can do that.

We are using Lightspeed Filter, but are making it clear that the alert area of filtering is only monitored between 8am and 4pm weekdays and during term-time.
