IC_Hall Posted November 22, 2017 Posted November 22, 2017 Hi, I am Ian. I am the Network Manager at Ivel Valley School, Biggleswade. I am the sole technical person in the School, so I end up dealing with all sorts of things. I sing in a choir, and play guitar in a rock band.

UforUserName Posted November 29, 2017 Posted November 29, 2017 Hello everyone! I am Catherine and I am new to this forum and to the whole forum world at all. I know how crazy it sounds, but I just never gave it a shot. Also, I am a home designer who frequently needs help with her electronics and gadgets, since I don't know exactly how everything works. That's why I am here, to browse around, look for answers and occasionally ask for your help. Plus, I am a huge geek when it comes to superheroes, especially Deadpool. Cheers 1

I’m primary school based Hello and welcome @tinkerbotsict I suggest you spend a lot of time reading our Data Protection & Information Handling forum - and give the sticky threads a good read I would also suggest you read GDPR responsibility in your school - EduGeek.net Don't agree to anything until you are sure you have the seniority (ability to overrule your school's leaders), the legally necessary independence from data processing both on paper and electronically (DPO covers both)... And pay for such a responsible role. Edited December 2, 2017 by elsiegee40 3
tinkerbotsict Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 (edited) Yeah I know told the business manager and head that I won’t do it without the full support from them and what I say goes. elsiegee40 Posted December 7, 2017 Posted December 7, 2017 Which school as a few of us are in or around Herefordshire? Unfair question. People are advised to keep their employer to themselves in most cases 1
