We have the https://www.synology.com/en-global/products/RS2418+ and the Active Backup for Office365 comes free, it is worth a look.
-
Check if they are running an old version of the Smart Notebook software. If so disable and I bet it goes away.
-
If you are on Office 365 send me a PM with an email address
-
Any chance of the guide being sent this way, many thanks in advance

Try looking at ZuluDesk as they have the annual license and the Perpetual license. It is easy to manage and it can be setup so that they log on with the network credentials https://www.zuludesk.com/pricing/

Any help would be appreciated here as well. Happy to share once I have my GPO's finished.

After testing with our upstream we discovered that not only port 443 is used but for some unknown reason UDP port 137 is also used. I have asked for clarification why this is needed so I can get the port open. If you are having issues with the admin dashboard not working it may be worth checking your event viewer as my errors show it is getting an invalid user and cs line faults from their end. This information has been forwarded to them but as of yet an acceptable response has not been received .

Test the 32bit IE on the Win 7 systems as this narrow down if it is 64bit vs 32bit issue. -
Use the file open option in PowerPoint and see if this resolves it.

Have you checked your ACL's yet and made sure the IP's are allowed access to both VLAN's?
-
I have got seven VLANS setup and control is primarily on the core switch using ACL's. if you have static IP's or IP resevations setup on staff systems it will make it a lot easier to manage while controling who has access to what. I will PM the configuration but contact me if you need anything else.

How do i change the name of a calendar in exchange?
smadison replied to mbird's topic in How do you do....it?
If it is against a user account try logging on as that person and exporting the calendar. It can then be imported elsewhere. -
We ran into something with hp 6735s laptops and discovered that the lid has a magnet which when place to close another laptop or it is put on top of another laptop the back light goes off. This has been confirmed by HP 2nd level as we thought it was a fault with the screen or driver initially. Is it worth looking it from this angle?

I would ask "How would you support ALL staff including support staff in obtaining immediate access to IT and training?".

We have a profile where they only have access to MS Office and time restrict the accounts and appears to work here. We call the profile "The Doghouse".

Another vote for Sonicwall here (NSA 5000) can't fault it as it does catch some that get through the LA anti-virus.
-
If it is XP and all else fails try a system restore to a point before the second anti-virus was installed and see what happens.
-
How about un-installing one of the anti-virus programs, rebooting the system and running the install as administrator?
-
Glad you got it sorted

How about checking connectivity? 1) Check the transceiver on the 3Com switch. A good way to check this is connecting the TX cable end to the RX port on the transceiver, obtaining a loop on the cable. If there's link, the fiber and transceiver are ok. Repeat this procedure on the other switch. 2) Check if the speed and duplex on both sides are the same 3) Check the proprietary features on the other switch.
