I use Pi-hole, you can download raspberry pi os and running it in a VM and install Pi hole, have the traffic from the DNS server routed to the Pi hole and through our filtering

It starting to happen to me a lot now, updating doesnt helps, I might try reinstall smart. Quick way around it, was in task manager to end the smart note crash report, and it starts up again
