Who should i buy from now misco have gone

I use have used IDNS in the past - Peter Finnigan - 01204 363350. recently bought tablets and desktops from him.

 

Has done his best to price match where possible.

First points of call for me is usually @ICTDirect_Dave, @VeryPC, Insight, Mis-oh. Might be worth trying Stone as well as they weren't bad last time I looked for iPads, so may be worth it for other tablets. Edited November 14, 2017 by DJ-1701

Highgate my old misco account manager moved there a while back, has consistently beaten Misco prices. ALso use Very-pc and ICT Direct depending on needs.

Jack Richards at Lane has quoted well for me in the past. My account manager at Misco (Dan) was recruited by another company (PCM).

When we are looking at bigger purchases, we use AMC with the likes of Softcat, Stone etc.

I value the half hour it takes our finance officer to set up an account with these random companies at more than 6 pence!

Interesting how many are recommended as going "above and beyond", maybe our expectations of what a supplier should be doing to earn our business are set too low.

Of course, Amazon is always tempting isn't it but for me, I'd rather not place business with them that could be handled by a British based company that doesn't have the tax issue associated with it. That said their set up is certainly very good and with Prime swift delivery but my Account Manager at Higate usually is able to better the price and doesn't charge us delivery either.
