Hi all,

I am getting fed up with Misco adding £10 onto all orders so I was wondering if anyone knows of a good alternative for general 'stuff'

e.g. stocking up with 'cans of air', spare mice, stciky stuff remover, basic cables replacements etc etc

any ideas welcome

Thanks

Thanks - problem is that we really need to order via the Council using an account so Amazon is a problem

We always used to use Amazon and order with a credit card but this is now a problem due to the new streamlined efficient system that has been forced on us and conveniently now takes up to 2 weeks to get stuff on next day delivery

I will check the other things people have mentioned - I am fed up of getting stuff on my own credit card and ending up not claiming it back as it is too much hassle!

CPC, BT Business, EBuyer - we have an account but dear $Deity it was a mission to get it, and EBay - I just buy stuff on my credit card submit the paypal receipt and the school generates me an expenses cheque each month to pay it off.

Another Amazon user here. But BT Business are fairly good too. Only issue with BT Business is on our online account, although discounts are shown, always has delivery charge whereas via our account manager there isn't a delivery charge. Often this balances out due to the cheaper product pricing, but if not Amazon is the next best.

CPC are good for some things, however when comparing some bigger branded products, they're usually more expensive than Amazon and BT Business. Kenable are good for cables.

Hey Mike,

Feel free to drop me a line/email with what you need. Delivery is always free and hopefully the guys on here will tell you that the service is great too :)

We dropped Misco a while ago now because of the delivery prices, even when buying over £25,000 worth of equipment they would not drop the delivery cost. We now buy from quite a few suppliers on here including @Millgate and have never been charged delivery from any of them.
