Use food in combination with Swallow, meditate often!

Last game completed was Witcher 3 the other day, the story was so good I feel like I have a huge void in my life now. Such an emotional rollercoaster, I managed to get the best ending though :)

SHUTSHUTSHUTUPSHUTUP LALALALA

Yes, swallow has helped, didn't realise you could just make potions as and when you want (unless in a battle...). I was thinking you needed a station to do it or go to someone to make it. (a la skyrim). I also assumed looting peoples houses would turn them against you, but appears to be only when in front of guards do they get annoyed....

Yeah people don't really get annoyed unless you really go crazy, I tried to punch a guard and he just said "Watch it Witcher.." :)

The first time I played it I was awful, but now I've focused on light attacks and dodging it's become a lot easier. Just need to know when to press ALT or when to parry an attack.

Last game I bought was: Lego Movie The Game (trying to complete it 100%, think I'm at about 40-50%)

Last game I completed (and I mean 100%): Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 (took me like 12 times to complete the end plane scene)

Completed Lords of Xulima at the weekend (I had almost completed it last week but I stopped right before what turned out to be the last dungeon) - quite a good game but better for longer sessions than short as there are parts that do drag on and if I had spent an hour in an evening just doing one of those I wouldn't have gone back to it. Also it does just end - hence my not realising how close I was to it. The ending is fairly predictable but overall I'm hoping for a sequel.

Puzzles are mostly good, fighting, at the start, does require some tactics but by the time you are bored with it most battles can be completed by just clicking on the monster you want to kill as you are powerful enough that it would take a large stroke of bad luck to end the game for you.

About 40 hours of game play (I think they claim 30 but that might require you to know exactly what to do) - can't really go wrong with party creation either which is nice.

Pretty sure the narrator doesn't know how to pronounce impious - "imp-ee-us" rather than "im-pie-us" which annoyed me a bit (I'll find out now that I'm wrong probably)

Moved on to Risen 2 now (a game I've owned for probably about 4 years but I've never managed to play for more than an hour before being distracted by something new)

Bought Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection the weekend for PS4, just completed the first one - forgot how brilliant they are!
Probably gonna pre order the fourth one next month!

Bought Life is Strange (Square Enix discount week on Steam) and I like it so far, though did spend some time wondering what earth-shattering revelation* would occur if I over-watered my plant.

*Premise is that the protagonist can rewind time and you get a "the decision you make here will have consequences" notifier (in the form of a chaos butterfly) when you choose certain paths so you can (if you wish) rewind time to play out other options then choose with 20-20 hindsight.

Plant care apparently has far-reaching consequences.

Completed rise of the tomb raider last night. Really good game, really good graphics. Genuinely feel like i got my monies worth, which makes a change from most games out there these days.

Is it longer than the last Tomb Raider game? I thought that was short, completed the story in about 2 weeks, and didnt spend hours and hours on it

Probably pretty similar, I'm not sure exactly how long i took on either, but certainly in this one i was taking my time and searching for stuff and then returning to areas to 100% them.

Obviously both games are very linear, but i think there's a little bit more freedom to this one than the last.

Brought Destiny and Assassin's Creed - Black Flag

Destiny lasted about 20 minutes, didn't like it at all.

AC is good, I like being a pirate!! Yarrrr

Finished the storyline to Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor.

Loved the game as a whole, stalking through Mordor - raising an army of my own from Uruk, strategically offing higher ranking Uruks to open up places for mine, finding ways to defeat rather tough individuals that appear to have no weaknesses, all the while being steeped in the wealth of background that is Middle Earth - brilliant.

However - the last 'battle' has left me feeling cheated.

I don't mind the odd QTE (press 'x' to not die), as long as they're well placed - ME:SoM for the most part does this, and does it well. But to reduce the final battle to effectively four button presses and a button mash? Bad move, Monolith, Bad move.

I seem to have a serious problem atm of not being able to focus solely on one game, I haven't yet completed any game i have on the PS4. Even Fallout 4 i have got very close to the end of main story and just....stopped.

I can't get enough of Rocket League at the moment though. Seriously addictive. I even went on PS4 Last night to play Witcher, then suddenly swaying to Rocket League, again!

I have most of the 'big' releases, and due to having games like Destiny and Elder Scrolls online installed as well - I'm struggling for space a little on my PS4, meaning I've no choice but to finish some off. If the Platinum is in sight - then it feels right to aim for that after (or during!).

Got the Batm'n Arkham triple pack [Asylum, City and Origins]

Although, I now have 2 copies of Arkham Origins on PC... One I can't use.

Only have one platinum trophy....on Rocket League...

Picked up the new Need for Speed game in the Xbox Spring sale, all I can say is I feel ripped off paying £18 for it so I can't imagine how someone that paid full price for it feels, it's quite possibly the worst Need for Speed game I've ever played and there have been some really bad NFS games in the past, the car handling is terrible, the constant phone calls is worse than GTA 4 and the racing has more rubber banding than Mario Kart.

I've given it 3 hours of my life that I will never get back, I wish Microsoft would follow Steam with their refund policy because that game would have gone back.

I also picked up Destiny for the 3rd time and The Crew Wild Run edition.

Couldnt get into it at all, im assuming you like it hence the 3rd buy?

Grabbed The Witcher 3, like it so far.

Just purchased superhot. Only played it a few minutes, but is very cool. Just be warned googling it may be NSFW. At least add the keyboard 'game' or use this link if you are interested. Its a FPS where time slows down to a crawl unless you are moving:

SUPER. HOT. SUPER. HOT. SUPER. HOT.

I does look interesting, but it's supposedly really short.

I bought it on the 360 + Xbox One (physical media) and bought it again Digitally with all the DLC so I can game share with the Mrs. I don't even like it that much lol

Depends on how quickly and how well you grasp the game mechanics. It's a lot more difficult than simply "stop moving, dodge bullets, win game."

But once you've completed it, there are challenge modes, and also all but (I think) two levels have a secret on them to find :)
