Helloo, Upon speaking to Sumdog about a data sharing agreement they have informed me that the data is held outside the EEA (*yay* - more headaches...) They said they would be sending stuff out and adopting a new privacy policy to customers by the compliance date. Hope that helps anyone.

Hi, All 3 of those should now be consolidated into one to make life easier and especially with GDPR coming very soon! Unfortunately I have yet to find a good template suited to Edu so had to write mine myself - all 21 pages of goodness! SR

Consent form for photos

Biometric data is slightly different as it comes under the Protection of Freedoms Act 2012 which already requires us to erase biometric if requested by child (regardless of their age) -

Ho to print out September 2017 Class lists in SIMS.

In the class lists, is there a way to set the date effective? -

Hi all, Looking for a teacher guide for ShowMyHomework and very frustrating that their support site is STILL down, does anyone have one that I can have please? Thanks, SR

I get NOT FOUND when I change it to 'Future' (I cant find pre-admission)

Was wondering, possible to add a date effective field for next update? I have to update all student IT usernames in SIMS and being lazy I don't want to wait until 1st September when the pre admissions get promoted.

It is supposed to cost the UK economy something like £200 million to switch over. All the self serve checkout machines in supermarkets, etc etc.

SIMS Profiles - is there a way for subject leaders to view all the subject reports and review them?

ParentPay - Anyone else adversely affected by the payment changes?
SovietRussia replied to pete's topic in MIS Systems
So glad that we are only starting to go over it very soon and parents won't know the "old way" but what a pain - I got caught by it too trying to do a demo powerpoint, put £20 on my account to be told 'it hasn't been applied, you need to go XYZ' what a waste of time. -
Hi, Has anyone got an example form that they may have in relation to consenting to a biometric cashless catering system. I have one and after reading Protection of Freedoms Act, I am not really sure if the form meets the specification as set by Chapter 2. If you could PM me or post it below I would be really greatful. Thanks, - R
