sted Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 playing splatoon the difficulty ramps up suddenly on the final boss dont think i failed any other mission more than once must of failed that one 8 times and still not done it. on the plus side ive found a multiplayer game thats actually fun, you can win a reasonable percentage of the time and isnt full of swearing yank teenagers threatening to do stuff to all your female relatives

GuyJD Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 I love KSP but I'm also rubbish at it, you watch these videos on youtube of people launching space stations and sending shuttles up to dock with it and they make it look so easy, I tried it and think the closest I got the 2 things together was about 20km
Garacesh Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 Old NM here used to be pretty good at it. Apparently it's pretty darn true to physics etc so you have to launch it 'properly', the right thrust, angle of ascent, etc.
Arreks Posted January 27, 2016 Posted January 27, 2016 KSP is easy once you know how to get into orbit which is pretty much just launching with a starting angle and increasing that angle until your periapsis/apoapsis are roughly equal. In terms of rendezvousing etc it's all done by clicking on an orbit line! I get bored of it pretty quickly though.

CHR1S Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 KSP is a right time sink isnt it! The early game with the rubbish rocket bits is the hardest, re-entry burn up and chute deployment is so hit and miss at first.

sted Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 bought lego marvel avengers well finished story mode seems even shorter than most lego games now working on achievements /100% managed to find a character who can dig (or so im told needed to look it up) I wish sometimes that they would colour code characters so you know that if it has say a red ring round their tile it can do telekinesis blue dig etc as with so many random people you've probably never heard of its hard to guess that squirrel girkl for instance can dig (apparently)

X-13 Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 [The other day] Finished the main story of Dark Souls 2. Decided to get the walk-away-like-a-boss ending. Decided to fight King Vendrick and The Scholar of the First Sin, so I ended up locked out of the ending for a bit... Scholar has a giant fireball spell that has an appropriate giant hitbox. Moved onto the DLC areas, cleared out Poison-town of the Infinite poise bros, and finished that. End boss is super hard. [i'm counting that as another game beaten.] Now I'm going through Fire-land... and the end boss is super hard. The "optional" boss is even harder...
