Gave R.E.P.O. a go with friends over the weekend. Plays similar to Phasmaphobia, which I prefer. The game doesn't have invert vertical controls though which almost made me insta refund it until a helpful lad on Reddit posted a patched dll to fix that.

Ooh, I've missed this thread!

Elite Dangerous was, prior to release and for years after, the only game I would play - I might play it for about a week every few months now. They've been really going for it with new content in its 11th year and it's really encouraging to see. I'm not so bothered about the recent Colonisation update, but there are some more new features planned this year and I'll check those out when they release.

I played it when it first came out on xbox I was in a great clan and we played thousands of hours in powerplay etc then FD introduced offline mode, messed up powerplay it seemed to go downhill real fast and everyone quit. Miss those days.

Had to start from scratch on PC PM me your tag if you want to wing up. :)

My brother and I were playing Fast Food Simulator in between The Headliners sessions, and that is fairly fun, although you start off just making plain single or double hamburgers and it's a slow process to level up and unlock new ingredients. It's something like level 25 to unlock fries! Either way, our restaurant, Bab's Borgers, is doing quite well!

I remember sorting through the sales on one of the consoles (either PS5 or Xbox Series X) and saw a game about managing a restaurant. When I looked deeper into it I found that the food was actually made from ground up customers. The world looks at me like I'm lost and out of touch, but after finding that game it doesn't bother me as much.

Ravenous Devils? Husband upstairs is a tailor, wife downstairs cooks up the unlucky customers. Was an interesting little resource management game.

Been going on a bit of a retro vibe lately.
Caves of Qud
Dwarf Fortress
Interspersed with
Oxygen Not Included and the somehow massively compelling game of Anthropomorphic beavers in a post apocalyptic mankind absent world that is Timberborn.

I discovered job simulators over Christmas. It started with TGC Card Shop simulator which is still in early access so still a few more features to add. Then moved on to Gas Station simulator, then House Flipper which even played through all the DLC, then House Flipper 2 and at the moment PC Building Simulator 2 which admittedly is me just doing a virtual version of my day job for recreation but it did get me back into building PCs proper. My steam wishlist at the moment is full of them, need to roll a dice to see what I try next

I want to get into Elite Dangerous again, played on PC many years ago but switched to Xbox version out of convenience. Now the console version is abandoned wanted to get back into the PC version but I am other side of the galaxy with a 35 light year jump drive and I really cant remember which key does what and no longer have my hotas.

Got a new 9070XT the other week so playing through Cyberpunk 2077 again as that just looks gorgeous

Someone sent me Two Point Museum as a gift, I am so going to be playing the hell out of that this weekend

Ohhh I saw the ad for that recently. I'm hoping it comes out on GamePass so I can have a crack at it.  Loved the other two, the only issue I have is that they just get a bit repetitive. Supposedly Museum has a bit of a different mechanic, so would be interesting how you find it.

I remember reading that you have to send adventurers out to find artefacts (or something like that).

Ive got Museum. Its ok. Lot more emphasis on decoration as you need to create "buzz" around the museum to make it look exciting. You have to send experts and other staff out to get exhibits for the museum. I'm not sure on its longevity.
