DJ3Dog Posted February 3, 2015 Posted February 3, 2015 Any PaperCut admin has wondered a time or two how their companies print enviroment compares to others. So I thought it would be a cool idea for the other admins out there to post the dashboard/envriomental inpact stats Keep in mind the 2,347 printer count is due to the fact that I put ALL printers on the 4 main servers and and auto reroute during down time or outage. So its really more like 587 printers
AwkwardUnicorn Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Nice thread idea. Here's our usage....fairly similar to yours but in a longer time.
6Foot2 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 We have only recently started using PaperCut again: http://i.snag.gy/i2qej.jpg We stopped using it when we deployed Impero. The reasoning was that we could use pCredit instead of PaperCut but we never really got started with it. When we deployed Pull queues PaperCut came with them. Happy days!
DavetheITguy Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Here are the stats for my Academy., Papercut is brilliant it's saved us so much money.
localzuk Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 This is our set of stats, for 5 1/2 years worth of printing.
X-13 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 152 days uptime. That's 100% uptime since installation.
MatthewL Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 I am sure there was already a thread running with stats in from last year somewhere, cannot seem to find it but there was one with some impressive stats if I remember rightly.
spadam Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 1.8 fewer trees in the world and it's all our fault
bossman Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 We only have 2 MFD's connected with a virtual followme printer, loving the interface and the ease of which reports can be e-mailed to SLT members. One and a half years worth
mjk Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Anyone fancy compiling a list of the number of pages per person per month for all these stats ? We could get some nice figures to see how different schools deal with their printing. FragglePete Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Running since September 2014. Student printing has reduced drastically since we implanted a changing PIN system. Pete
sister_annex Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Here's Ours, been using it since 2010... more of a monitoring solution (print archiving FTW) than anything else!
kennysarmy Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 System was installed Easter 2014...so 10 months of use roughly....
john Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 152 days uptime. That's 100% uptime since installation. You ever patch your servers? Even Linux needs patching from time to time
X-13 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 You ever patch your servers? Even Linux needs patching from time to time An external company are supposed to be managing updates...
AJWhite1970 Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Here's mine.. As someone who lives deep in the heart of the New Forest can I thank you all for all the trees you are saving Andrew
Ant Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Wow, some big numbers on here compared to ours! Must say PaperCut is probably one of the best things we've implemented here IT-wise.
ozydave Posted February 4, 2015 Posted February 4, 2015 Since 1st Sept 2014 we printed 1,078,956 pages
