Luke_T Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 The IT Wall of Cards ... 4 days to go ... The chocolate biscuit box count is up to 2 however, which is equal to the 2012 record. 2
Poults Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Not a sniff of anything here yet, we don't close until the 19th though.
stitch Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Not a sniff of anything here yet, we don't close until the 19th though. Same here.
Garacesh Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Not a sniff of anything here yet, we don't close until the 19th though. Same here. Yup, ditto.
win Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I have 1 so far - but it was a printed card from a supplier along with my purchase
hardtailstar Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Got none so far for just me, but the bursar who I share an office with is saying any cards she gets not named for her are for both of us.
Arreks Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I have 1 so far - but it was a printed card from a supplier along with my purchase Shhh it still counts!!
Disease Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 We had 1 card this morning with a box of cakes. @E_G_R2 buying your own cards to make it look like you have loads doesn't count 1
StevieM Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Don't want to brag (ok just a bit) but I've got 5 cards from the kids so far, including this very appropriate one from a Year 4 girl:
LosOjos Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I'll just be glad if I don't get given a job to do in the pub on the last day to be ready for first day back! 1
jamesb Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 Absolutely nothing here. Finish on the 24th...to start again on the 29th.
Bompalompalomp Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I have two! One from a child and another from a teacher that is actually just a request disguised as a thank you. "Thanks a lot but while I'm writing this can you..."
Garacesh Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 I have two! One from a child Aw, that's actually quite sweet. and another from a teacher that is actually just a request disguised as a thank you. "Thanks a lot but while I'm writing this can you..." Aha xD Never a dull moment.
DalekSec Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 3 cards, 2 boxes of chocolate's and an IT Crowd reference, so far!
HTCPCP Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 We have had a box of Family Circle, a box of roses, a box of celebrations and a 4 pack of Stella! Oh wait, they were thank yous from a parent after we fixed their laptop, a teacher after we helped them save a few days of remarking and showed them how to back things up, and the celebrations and stella was from a company who came in to do the ECDL after they kept breaking things and making last minute requests such as extra user accounts, and software packages! Nothing from Christmas yet, but we still have a week (gonna take a lot to beat our haul last year - we had 2 members of SLT ask if we were starting an off license... (staff bringing us bottles after the kids had gone home at the end of term, not us becoming alcoholics...)
Garacesh Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Now that's my kind of Christmas card, @Galway!
StevieM Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 3 cards, 2 boxes of chocolate's... ...and a partridge in a pear treeeeeee!!
eyetea Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Had one from a kid that often wanders in to the office! Not even a single printed one from suppliers!
pickman Posted December 10, 2014 Posted December 10, 2014 Count for us 1 card one box of roses and a candy cane for each member of my team.
