We have some courier FIPS 197 Excripted memory sticks that when you plug in auto runs a program called totallock.exe which is software on the stick to allow you to log in to it. If the auto run doesn't appear then you can click on it (f:) and it runs on most machines. On others when you put the stick in it registers ( bing bong) and also appears in lower corner to safely eject it. In my computer I can see a F drive but it appears as a cd drive and when clicked just opens a empty window with no files? Any Ideas?

Im looking for some advice,I'm not a big gamer and find a lot of games hard, saying that I have not played much of anything in the past few years. Other then Football Manager and Flightsim X I did like X2 on the PC. So the PC I had Flightsim on has died. I have a mac and a Intel® Core™ i5-4570 quad core 3.2 GHz (3.6GHz Turbo) with Intel® HD Graphics 4600 8GB RAM 240GB SSD Windows 8.1 Is the above any good for games ( flightsim - elete etc?) Or would I be better off getting a playstation or Xbox if so which one? Just think I may have a hour here and there to play now .

Is there a easy way to do this, We have a twitter account which is displayed on our website. Unfortunatly some of the acconts that follow us have tweets that contain swear words or are generally not sutable to be linked to the school. On our school website it is just our tweets that are displayed so there there is no problem. Its if you click onto our tweet which brings up the twitter page then if you click followers and look through some of there accounts that is where the problem is. The easyest thing is to block them individually, but they are parents so is this a good idea? How do others handle this?

i had a play with it over a few days and struggled to get it working, gave up and wrote my own bespoke one in Rails in a day. Not that that is much help

Can I automate it with GPO or is it going to take me goingto every PC. 2 of our office PC's that are not part of the domain have automatically gone over with out really asking. I dont want anymore to move over, yet as we are getting new computers in summer so want to start then. Cheers

Does anyone have a script or a way to log when someone logs onto a computer? I need to know when someone logs onto a computer or server but instead of event view I would like it sent to a file, both local and RDP logons wouldbe ideal

This is probably a simple question but want to check before i press the big green button. As its the first time using solus 3 So I have downloaded The spring Full Release (7.168) on the server. I am in upgrades Deployment I have the SIMS Spring 2016 Full release highlighted in the update window, In targets do I select everything, So the sims database, sims file and sims SQL server along with the Sims workstation then click deploy now? Or do I just select certain targets?

OK I have been told that this can be done, however googling hasnt helped. Teachers want to do end of year reports in word and have a text box that they type there comments into say fill width and 5 lines high. They want to be able to lock that so that when its sent to staff to fill in they cant keep typing in it and making it bigger or pull the anchors out to make it bigger and ideally when you have wrote 5 lines and got to the end, you shouldnt be able to type any more. in word 2010 or newer please.

My question was more about a job that I have applied for , the only real info I have is that the company are looking at doing cloud migrations and you need an infrastructure background. Anyone have any ideas on what they are really after. Do you think this would be just the normal lets get exchange and the websites and apps into the cloud or something more advanced like lets move everything over

Just wondered if there is any body here that could spare me a few minutes talking about migration to the cloud and what it really entails. Particularly someone that works in a cloud migration roll. Cheers

We are having intermittent issues with out smart software. We have a new smart lightraise 60 wi2 projector that wokes fine. Then someday's it looses finger touch and pen touch other then in the smart ink layer. So we can draw over things but not click on the close button or open up a new browser for example? Were on 11.4 notebook software ( due to licencing) Anyone else had similar issues

We have a NAS box with shares. I have set up the folders and shared them using a script eg net use p: \\NAS\Images /USER:name password This works fine however I want to hide the shares so I thought renaming the folder Images$ and then net use p: \\NAS\Images /USER:name password would work but it doesnt? anything obviously wrong?

OK so the headteacher has got a Macbook. They are not very computer literate so I set it up so that they just log on as a local user. In school I have set it up so that they can access the shared areas ( just spaces on a NAS box) however they want to get to there personal home folder to. So on a windows domain PC this happens when they log in it map the home directory to a h drive with only that person been able to have access to that folder. Is there a way of doing this on a mac?

Yep Run it then tick in the this computer will be used as a sims work station? then next page sims folder is that\\servername\folder\sims that it has already in there?
