I personally recommend the Samsung ones, had no issues with them. I think there all on GSM arena if you wanted to compare.

Features/tools/extras what ever you want to call them. You used to go into add remove and add bits in there like themes etc it would prompt for the disk but if you copied them to the machine it knew to look there first.

Back in the days of NT, 95, 98 etc you could copy the contents of a folder from the installer to to C:\Windows or C:\WINNT so no prompt when installing roles as such, can anyone remember what went where?

Is it a dedicated mailbox, if that works for you then great, if there is more than 1 of you then a dedicated service desk software is required really. Those reporting via teams need to be told email or no job sorted, you need to be firm with them.

Just looking at PC that has come to me that fried its PSU and then wouldn't boot, turned out total reset of BIOS seems to have fixed it but not quite sure weather he has fried it trying to overclock? PC now booting and is used by a kid gamer but has GamerHash on it, anyone come across this before, is it safe/legit? Sorry not a gamer here, if it was me it would come off but would rather check.

I need to ring Virgin next week if my connection doesn't improve, a reboot before any major Teams call is a must at the minute. I had considered the 4G option, I access stuff remotely so need to be able to connect in, have to weight it up, at the minute I make do. When the BT offerings change I'm going to move to FTTC or P if its available!!

I have so many issues with them, I rang to get my contract re done the other week and halved my bill instantly, was having issues they pushed some settings down to my modem and it reset it made a bit of difference but I have to reset every few days but this week I have noticed lots of drops. I have no other choice for internet as the BT offerings as shocking where I am. Ring up and threaten to leave, get an engineer out, may need your modem replacing.

We use Zoho/Manage Engine/Desktop Central for all our windows and Mac's on the domain, visible on the web to enable patching and remote support. All machines have DirectAccess so have access one way or another, that is about 3000 desktops, laptops and servers. We also use the MDM side for iPad's just in process of adding a batch in there, in total about 20 but means we have everything in one place. We do use a separate one for mobiles phones but I don't rate it and I think its what our provider recommended, not used for anything else and they do alot of the work on that.

What happens is you print a test page from the driver? Check any job retention settings for the driver as I have seen these set before and often some drivers if the documents are created on another system with similar drivers installed retain settings. What MFD are you using?

PDF & Images are known for issues printing in Windows 10 using the default apps, set a PDF viewer like Adobe or Foxit and that will resolve it.

With a NPS policy you can add it in as a subnet i.e. 192.168.10.0/24 then anything on that range will work rather than individual AP's. All ours AP's are on DHCP and it works for us as just added 2 new sites to ours this week.

So I started life with Renault's and always wanted a Golf but could never afford the insurance. I went down the Seat route had 2 x Leon and 1 x Ibiza FR. I'm now onto my Octavia estate and don't think I'd ever buy a Golf. A mate of mine bought one he always had a Octavia VRS and soon returned the Golf for another VRS and I can see why. My next car will be a decent spec Octavia weather its a VRS or something else, from the Golf's I've seen and tried not impressed with them to be honest.

I'd not even looked at toner prices for Lexmark, last time I looked they were not too badly priced. I'm looking at trying to do away with inkjets, for the use it will get its not massive, also got another printer that has been destroyed due to ink so trying to stay away if i can.

A topic we all hate printers, what I have does me at home and its not something I purchase very often but helping out a friend who needs a new one. Currently has a mono printer/scanner/copier that was used for just copying I think, also has an A3 inkjet printer for printing plans (he is a man of all trades). Need a new mono replacement but wondered if there were any A3 colour version out there suitable and small enough for home, with wireless as its to sit away from the computer. I am struggling with A3 so looking at an A4 laser with wireless, must have a scanner function on it. Any recommendations for something that isn't going to break the bank, HP & Lexmark are two sticking out at me along with a Canon on eBuyer at the moment. Any recommendations, anyone got something at home that fits the bill and can recommend?

PaperCut all the way. FYI you need to be licensed to use a release station I think 1 is included by default. You could use the web interface to release jobs or just let them print out if you don't want to spend more than needed. Put restrictions on them queues and any big jobs go via the Sharp machines.

Forget connection and re join but also in device manager set the wifi adaptor power management settings not to turn off the device if its set.
