it was around about 15k thou at the time Ruckus did have some offers on so we saved a bit a money on the access points. Your best speaking to Mark who has posted in here as well as it was his company that supplied us with all of the kit. At the moment i haven't come across any limitations with the system. its mainly just been setting up the settings to get the best out of it. I am not sure where in the UK you are but if your near Preston you are more than welcome to come visit and have a look.

Well after purchasing the Ruckus wireless system way back in April from Mark at Net Ctrl we final got around to installing it over summer. After using it for the last 3-4 weeks I have got to say I am very impressed with it, it just works all the W/L laptops connect no problem we have had class of 30 laptop connecting no problem and the staff are loving being able to roam all over school with their laptop. PE is especially happy as we have full coverage of the sports hall and Gym and even all the way on the sports field and tennis courts for lesson registration.

Just had a mail shot which had the Dell Vostro 320 All-in-one unit on it, it looks like a nice bit of kit and would look great in our Design/Graphics studio wondered if anyone has got one or even had a physical look at one and what they are like. link below Dell Vostro 320

Wouldn't happen to have the phone number?

i think she has the trial version installed.

*edit* Resolved this issue, some one had ticked the two boxes in module setup in Attendance setup setting the date range outside of this year. This made the edit marks and morning registration class in lesson monitor disappear.

Hi One of the teachers at school purchased the student teacher version of Office 2007, in a blond moment she throw away the box containing the product key, anyone know a way to get a new key or will she have to purchase it again.

Just got 2 x Dell R710 which are built for virtual hosting, it worked out a lot cheaper as we only need 2 servers instead of 3 and performance over 2950 is alot better.

We have also had this issue, marks were there this morning but when attendance officer came to edit marks before dinner they had gone. A couple of strange things we cannot get it to populate the edit marks section of SIMS and morning registration class are not appearing but academic class are. I have since discovered that the exams officer did roll over to the new academic year and then back again? Could this have been a factor I have spoken to our local LEA support team and they are investigating. Anyone any ideas!!!!!

A big thank you to Simon who once again got a fantastic price on 32 Dell Latitude 2100.

Yes, the Westfield centre is aware of this issue and dealing with it. A supplier rung me up this morning to say his emails to me were getting bounced back. But internal school emails work fine.
