I have just has a chap in from Toshiba education demoing the AT 100 tablet with some management software they have developed to lock down the devices and also push out apps via a central console. I could PM you his details if you are interested. He also says that it gets around the proxy issue.

They base it per pupil and i think it was coming in at £10.

We had the demo a few weeks ago; i liked the fact that they monitor it and then do reporting back to a senior member of staff. As you say though you are paying a premium for this service.

we had the same issue in our Drama hall, i have used the NEC ultra short throw projector U260w and its gone down a treat with the drama teacher.

I've put a support call into TWC and wait a response they where checking with CLEO, but it has been getting bad espically just recently with several members of staff commenting it made watching videos on-line not an option.

i am not sure if anyone else in CLEOland is having the same issue with afore mentioned players. But i and several staff have started to see problem with the videos from the sites regular buffering at certain points. I have done some testing at our end to check and its not a issue at our end!!

Hi i have set this up no problem and can get to the home page but when i click on any of the links it puts the address like this: http://192.168.0.16printmaster//manufacturers.php any ideas why its moving the slash?

The sync went well just takes a bit of time to work through all the settings etc, when i ran the sync it all went well expect for what happend above. so just dont make that mistake.

Cheers, contacted them also found a forum and it looks like i am not the only one that has done this.

I have done some thing really stupid. when using the google apps directory sync tool i didn't excluded the admin account and its now disabled. Anyone else done this and been able to re-enable the account.

are they going to tie it in with the network managers meeting they have in the past and it would make more sense rather than just trailing down for the exhibition.

followed the bleeping computer guide and it worked a treat removed it no problem one happy user.

Same here we have over the last 12 months had a big push making sure all depts start to make more use of moodle if its going to start being unreliable it will put depts of using it. I have heard on the grape vine that there is some disagreement about who is supporting moodle since they have moved to the new partnership.

got one here not a school laptop but one of the teacher home laptop. we have also seen an increasing number of laptop infected with the fake av over the last few weeks.

Moodle down, but I believe it was down last night as some of our student couldn’t access it to do homework. Strange that it’s taking them so long to fix it, I rung up this morning and they were aware that it was down but haven’t found what was causing it. Services all ready being affected doesn't look good for the future with this new partnership?
