  1. And then update your deployment share and import the boot files again into WDS
  2. Please tell me the £9 tickets still exist lol
  3. the HTML5 websockets does not work behind Microsoft's Web Application Proxy either, but apparently Azure Application Proxy can handle it all now :-) I learnt this after days of trying to figure out why the HTML5 client wouldn't work (I have not played with AAP yet but that is on my list)
  4. I think @elsiegee40 prefers the 29th for some reason there ;-)
  5. I little Wednesday 28th July Trip sounds good :-)
  6. Design and Management Systems if you are down south are very very good
  7. we use Unicheck, was out before G Suite's own one (and it integrates) and was cheaper. Teachers seems to like it
  8. It is worth checking out this webinar from Google, you can actually change them to login with the 365 login
  9. We actually have a policy in place that states that we do not provide laptops with CD/DVD Drives, as they are increasingly harder to get hold of, if there is a need for a DVD Drive, we advise you budget holder purchases it for you.
  10. I usually use this company for my laptop screens https://www.laptopscreen.com/English/model/ASUS/CHROMEBOOK%20C204EE/ They have a UK warehouse at Gatwick as well, which helps.
  11. At the weekend I watched The Wicker Man (1973) with Edward Woodward and Christopher Lee in it, for the first time ever. Not watched the US remake either, and I don't know if I want to, as the plot of this was very well done in my opinion and I don't feel it would work in a US setting.
  12. Current fileset for England is 1801 with 1802 being released this week. 1707 and 1708 have something to do with the Welsh PLASC Return and are shown in the 1700 filestream as updates on the ESS CSM newsfeeds. Unless you are in Wales, I would ignore them
  13. This may be worth a watch though
  14. Is it because the files in the Document Management server are not backed up with that database, they are physical files. It may be worth going to Tools > Housekeeping > Document Management Server > Maintain Orphaned Documents to see if there are a lot there which need clearing up.
  15. not seen any issues myself, but I have seen some nightmare LEA hosted SIMS down in our neck of the woods.
  16. We have both running, Gmail is disabled, so all email goes through 365 (the only issue seems to come down to you cannot email a class direct from Google Classroom but we have edulink and salamander for that) We are actually going down the lines that staff stuff is all in Teams and Sharepoint and student stuff in Google (from data location point of view)
  17. YAY!!!! :whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo::whoo:
  18. No eBay style sniping in at the last minute people
  19. That total lot is at least £50 (my bid)
  20. Glad that worked, filtering further down like that can cause headaches and are too easy to miss in the interface for my liking, but at least you now have what you need :-)
  21. I have just had a quick play and managed to do what you want like this: So you have to put the items in and filter to the lesson with the name. the name is formated at the Column on the top of a students timetable (for us it is AMON, ATue ....... BMON, BTUE.....) then a colon and the period number for Thursday week B period 6 for us is BThu:6 Make sure you set the effective date and roll that forward to next week, as if you are in holidays at the moment, it will not run. Hopefully this makes sense to you (it kinda does in my head) EDIT: Year group filter is still done on the normal filter screen, it is the lesson part where you put the filter for the class information.
  22. I have S2D running nice and effectively and works fine for us, has the advantages of a SAN without actually having one. What i would say is if i was doing it now, I would use NVME for Performance tier and SATA SSD for Storage Tier, to really speed it up. I did what @Katy did here though, as Windows Admin Centre really does do most of the setup for you now without much of a fuss https://katystech.blog/2021/01/wac-hyperv-cluster-s2d/
  23. Watched Captain Marvel again yesterday, just to give it my full attention. Still not that impressed with it TBH. Feels like it is just jammed into the MCU and was a bit meh
