I've had an issue before with a bad image burned to disc. Can you re-download the ISO and burn it again just to test?

Currently working off a core 2 duo with 4GB RAM. I visit small primaries and i use the same machines staff/students use that way I get a feel for the state of the on site equipment. Anything power hungry i farm out to one of the servers, which in small primaries can be fairly underutilized.

I started Mr. Robot last night. I know i'm late but I've been busy. I liked it, but found it a bit "eye rolley" at times. At one point they are discussing which linux desktop environment they are using and talking about Gnome and KDE. Kinda felt like they shoe horned it into the script just for the sake of pleasing geeks. Could do without those parts.

I find this reg edit very useful. It adds the option of "take ownership" to explorer. Also includes reg file to remove from explorer too.InstallTakeOwnership.zip

Its probably not much help to you, but i had quite a few issues with it and moved to VNC viewer. However, i only used it in one classroom so it was a little easier for me to just switch.

Hi everyone, this ones a bit different. The school has an audio announcement system, it's a simple set up, microphone connected to an amp, then from the amp, speakers are daisy chained to the classrooms. It's a small setup, 7 classrooms. The audio system works perfectly. What we thought we could do, is using a old IP camera, is connect the teachers PC's to the camera feed on the whiteboard whilst the audio is being broadcast, giving us live video and audio. Students could do live news broadcasts etc. We have the teacher PC's connect to a Dlink DCS 3010. We have been using a vlc shortcut to open an rtsp stream from the camera. Works fine with one connection, but when a few more connect the image becomes unstable and jittery. With 5 users connected the feed seems to freeze. I'm assuming the camera's hardware isn't up the job of handling more than a few users connected. Network is gigabit but camera is only 10/100. So, what i thought, is there a way of having one connection open to the camera feed on the server, and then the clients connect to VLC player or some other software on the server and get the stream from there instead of all connecting to the camera? Anyone done anything like this before?

With login issues with wifi and speed, i've some success with this GPO. Admittedly it was for software installation over wifi that was working fine over wired. Worth a try maybe? Computer Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > System >Group Policy > Startup Policy Processing Wait Time The default time is 60 sec i think but i often use 10. It may or may not help, but worth a try to narrow it down.

It's because the HDMI comes from the graphics processor, which also handles the audio for HDMI output, so the Intel display driver installs an HMDI audio driver as well. It's possible that the realtek driver is not playing well with intel.

What happens if you use the default audio driver instead of the realtek one? Also, the HDMI audio driver comes from the Intel display driver, is that up to date from Intel and not windows update?

Wonder if there is a known fault with Toshiba screens. Doubt they will admit to it though.

Not sure if this will help, but when directing the users profile path to the mandatory you should drop the .v2 So "\\server\\profiles\mandatory". I just set my Mandatory profile to read only for the user groups that will use it.

Funny, i have just been given a toshiba laptop (probably the same model) with the same issue. No one said it had a been dropped/damaged and the last time they dropped one they just admitted it out right.

Software packages that cost a small fortune that don't have an MSI. iPads.

I haven't actually implemented it yet, so i'll have a chat with the head/deputy when i can.
