My grip strength is the first to fail when it comes to my deadlift. Is it worth a shot?

I wear belt for deads, squats and OHP. I know OHP sounds a bit odd but it gives me som extra support at the lower back as it is a bit prone to injury. I fancy getting some liquid chalk though! Anyone use it?

The instructions from Sketchup just say to add "#NoTrial", not "##NonCommercialUse,NoTrial". So I'll try that!

Afternoon, Been asked to install Sketchup Make, i downloaded the Sketchup Make exe installer and extracted the MSI from it for deployment. However, when i tested it i found that the software is in trial mode, i don't want the software to be in pro trial mode, expire then need some sort of settings being changed network wide, that'll be a pain as you can imagine. The method of "#NoTrial" being added to the .license file doesn't seem to work. Anyone got an older MSI that is free version only? Thanks!

Will that code rename the the users folder as well? what's the best way to use that script?

Just try the cmd - gpupdate /force first and see if it starts to install, it'll give you an error if you have any underlying GP issues =]

Log in to one of the laptops as admin, run cmd, type gpupdate /force and press enter. Reboot, machine should start to install your new shiny MSI's. Machines don't always syn group policy at startup (unless you enable it..)

Thanks for that. I was hoping i could just rename the user in AD and it would change the users home directory, as the last part is the kicker. Changing names in AD doesn't change the SID, so the user folder stays the same. Server generates the user folder name from user logon name pre-windows 2000, so changing that in AD does create a new, user folder. I just wish it'd rename the current existing one

Good morning guys/gals! We have a request from the higher ups to change how the students logon to the computers in school. We have been asked to change the user name (to j.smith for example, from john.smith), but we also need to change the user folder as well to reflect this. This is because staff have read access to the student folders and need to see the name change also. Whats the best way about going about this? Any tips or tricks? Thanks ladies n gents.

Ok, i'll give that a go then. I'll log into the untouched clean profile and make some changes without any GP applying and see if that helps. I did open up the .dat in regedit and found the username i used to edit the profile littered all over the place. I replaced it with the a username variable but that just broke the whole thing. Thanks for the help!

Spent the weekend in Portugal and landed last night to find the weather in Manchester much nicer..

Is anyone using mandatory profile with server 2012? I'm having an issue with mine. The profile is a copy of one that is posted on a thread here, it works fine, but when i customize it (change.dat - login - make changes - change back to .man) it seems to change the profile in some way for that specific user i've logged in as. If after modifying the profile you log in as a different user, non of the mapped drives we have show up. I think it's retaining the user name in the registry of the profile somewhere, causing the mapped drives to not apply. Has anyone else experienced this? All i want to do is change the icon shortcuts to small, and get rid of the first run boxes for media player and word. Does anyone fancy sharing their profile for 2012 r2?

Still having issues. It fails when talking to lancs ngfl servers. No one else experiencing this?
