  1. Ahh what a pain! I suppose i'll just have to try it. I saw a comment on technet saying it now works with chrome 59? It's a real issue for me because we plan on using local profiles with windows 10 and we want to use UE-V to allow users to save favorites.
  2. Bump again sorry, is anyone using UE-V to carry stored passwords and favorites in chrome? We are using local profiles and want to "roam" these settings.
  3. I removed all the xbox junk and the store still works. Sort of, i have it disabled via GP.
  4. I've just started Stranger things. Liking it so far!
  5. Sorry for the bump, but does UE-V not carry other stored passwords from web browsers?
  6. This doesn't deserve it's own thread, so i'll try asking in here. I upgraded client image to 1709 and i'm using local profiles (still testing, curric is still on Win7) and i'm just wondering about HDD usage with local profiles. Do you guys that are using local profiles clear them at log off or do it periodically?
  7. Thanks but i'd made a few mistakes with the image (learning process i guess!) so i started a new one with an edu image. It's kind of on the back burner at the minute as i'm just firefighting since we came back from summer break.
  8. This is causing me massive issues! In some small schools i have admin machines pointing to county council WSUS servers. Normal practice and this is what LEA does. Seemed Ok till they pushed out this update. Cue a number of schools with downed admin machines.
  9. Spoken like a true Yorkshire man!
  10. What does a Dyslexic Pirate Say? RRRRRRA! .....
  11. It's Friday, i'm finishing at 4, let's get rickety rickety wrecked son!
  12. I won't say much as i don't want to spoil it for you, but there are parts that are actually quite funny!
  13. I watched "it", i don't like horror at all, and the other half dragged me to the cinema to watch it. Good film though, not that scary really so i enjoyed it. Later on we then watched "The Girl on the Train", that was a good watch, i do like a who dun it.
  14. Don't mind the OS but i prefer windows i'd say. I own a Macbook 2010 model and it's still chugging along with decent battery life, the thing is tight as drum and feels like it was built yesterday. I don't have a problem with Mac's, but i see no reason to use them other than just wanting to pay the extra for the nicer feel.
  15. Yeah that's what i'm having trouble with! You legend!
  16. Thanks i'll give that a go!
  17. Thanks very much for that! Any ideas how i can put Windows media player back after removing it? I pl;an on having VLC installed along side. I already miss windows 7. Hah!
  18. I ran that script on my image and it removed Media player, which i want. I can't find media player in the app list to get it back. How odd.
  19. For deployed machines though, could this be run as a start up script? I tried, and it didn't work so i'm missing something.
  20. My PS script works for removing apps at logons, but what would i need to change to make it run as a machine startup script? I'm very new to PS< my code is:
  21. Thanks, i posted my PS script here for logon and someone said i should do it on a machine basis not as each user logs on. So many pitfalls with windows 10.
  22. Thanks, my image has the "apps" still in place and they are stripped out at login, this is going to slow down logins on local profiles. Sigh.
  23. What's your method for creating the local profiles for use on a domain? I'm a little rusty with them, having really only working with roaming and mandatory.
  24. Thank you for that! I'm a little rusty with local profiles on a domain, whats the rough set up procedure for them, is it a local path in the profile path in AD user preferences?
  25. I don't want to speak for him, but with a local profile on a new machine (bank of laptops etc) wouldn't it do the whole "Hi...setting things up" screen?
